Add Me to the List: Water Leaking

You won't be able to spray it up in there unless you remove the fender.

Add Me to the List: Water Leaking

I just used black silicone that comes in a tube and my buddy had some butyl. It's a black sticky caulk like substance. It came on a sheet that you peeled off and then applied by hand.

Add Me to the List: Water Leaking

Yep, that's how I found my leak too. I put a hose up on the roof in the roof ditch molding near the top of the windshield and let it run down. Then I pulled the sill/kick panel trim and body side seal and could see water seeping out out the body side inner to body side outer weld flange. You...

Add Me to the List: Water Leaking

Hard to determine without taking the fender off and looking closely at that seam and spraying it with water. Just do what I did and seal up that seem between the inner fender and body side inner. Not too hard of a job. Don't take it to the dealer. They will remove the fender and break the...

Add Me to the List: Water Leaking

No, sorry. I didn't take any pics. Fender liner comes off with several bolts and a few push pins. The foam is just wedged in there and comes right out. Neither were difficult to take off. It's a little tight getting your hands up in there, especially the higher you go, but it helped to have...

    Hemi vs ecoboost

I raced my buddy in his F-150 with the 3.5L Ecoboost from a dead stop up to about 60mph. We both have crew cab short beds. I have the 3.21 open rear end and he has 3.73 (I believe) open rear end. We we dead even. Neither truck pulled on the other.

    Cracked Windshield From Golf Ball

My windshield took a rock and cracked back in late July. My new OEM replacement just arrived last Friday. Getting it installed tomorrow. Took way longer to get in than I expected.

    1st Oil Change

Did my first oil change last weekend on mine. I fastened a little metal u-channel below the drain plug on the pan to direct it away from the sway bar. Oil filter sure made a mess though. Thought I wiped it all up well, but still had a nice 3" spot of oil on the driveway in the morning.

    Gas tank drilled

Thief left the drill, but took the battery from the drill? I noticed there was no battery on the drill. Weird.

Add Me to the List: Water Leaking

I recently noticed that my carpet was wet on the driver's side under my front floor mat, when cleaning out my truck. I saw this post and read the star report. I also did a leak check like the original poster and had water coming in the same manner. The last thing I wanted was to take my truck...

Predrilled Bumper Holes for License Plate Bracket

Contact member Cobrar97. He got me custom painted plugs for my Patriot Blue Ram and they are much smaller and less noticeable than the ones that v_eight is showing in his pics. Highly recommended. Here is a thread for reference...

    Highest MPG you ever got?

I got 21mpg on my first highway trip with my truck last week. Roughly 200 miles of highway. I tried to keep it right around 75mph. Hemi crew cab, 5'7" box, North Edition, 33g tank, 3:21 rear end.

Ringer Volume When Connected to CarPlay

I still can't get this to change on my truck. Messed around with it a few times on Saturday and incoming calls still come in at an annoying high volume level.

Ringer Volume When Connected to CarPlay

How can I adjust the volume of my phone ringer when I have my phone plugged in and using CarPlay? When I get a call now, the volume of the ringer is on full blast through the truck speakers and it's very startling, especially to my sleeping passenger. I tried adjusting the volume on the radio...

    Tonneau Covers

I have the BakFlip MX4. I love it. Had the BakFlip F1 on my old truck (2011) and the MX4 is a nice improvement over my old F1. It's way lighter, has a matte finish and you don't have to flip it up to close the tailgate.
