Well... it finally happened :) - production was scheduled on Jan-8-2023 (and just showed up in the ram tracker late last night.) I don't know the estimated build date yet, but hopefully this is the start of things happening.
Let's hope so! Thanks for the optimistic comment -- the family is down to just one SUV after the other was totalled -- not because of a crash, but because of water ingress. We had a heavy rainstorm in Dallas in October, and somehow water got into the electronics and caused the electrical system...
That's awesome brother!
I've been checking mine constantly -- nothing yet. My inquiries to Ram Support have been entirely useless. It's been over six weeks, and still not scheduled. Hopefully soon.
Congratulations and thanks for sharing the experience at MD. I’m sure it was an awesome day driving it off the lot - happy for you!

Truck inventory has been growing and aging... and there are lots of trucks with this kind of age and even higher. It's likely to get worse before it gets better for manufacturers and dealers. But its good right now for consumers who want to buy a truck.
Yeah, mine is still only in Confirmed status too.
RAM's "milestone" schedule says they will schedule the production date within 26 days from when the order was confirmed. For my order, they've already exceeded that timeframe (my order was confirmed just over a week before yours -- on 11/21)
I...
What cover did you go with?
I’m thinking I’ll get the Access Lorado soft rollup cover. It seems people are really happy with these. I was also looking at the Truxedo Lo Pro, which I think is very similar, and I could probably go either way, but I’m leaning towards the Access product.
It also...
Maybe others have more experience with RAM production, but I have lots of experience in manufacturing. I'm assuming you think there was rework needed since it was held in inspection for so long. If this is the case, it's very likely the issue has been fully corrected and your truck will be...
hah, well, welcome to the Order Tracking thread. You can checkout the tracking spreadsheet here: Order Tracking
On the next update, I'll add your build to the spreadsheet.
Thanks for your perspective on this.
It will be interesting to see how long they'll be producing '24s. With new '24 orders having now closed, I'm sure they'll want to produce all the orders on their books and then be done with the '24s. I'll be curious to see how much overlap they'll have with...
Well I don't know why mine is taking so long to get scheduled then! Do you see any built from Build Group 213?
Curious what you do with that data.... sounds like you download build sheets every day?
Mine's the Bighorn, Crew Cab, 6'4 .... and in Build Group 213. From your data it looks like they built 26 today!
I called RAM and they created a case and assigned a "Brand Mentor" who will look into trying to get the build scheduled since it's been so long -- will see if that does any good :)
Mine was confirmed 11/21 but it's still not scheduled!
It might be because it’s a 6’4 bed, and maybe they're batching multiple orders together before sending a group down the line? Who knows!
Was there a crack in your frame but hasn't leaked yet? Was the crack all they way across the frame? ( Or are you changing it preventatively even before the crack happens?)
I would think it'd be very hard to understand the scheduling algorithm.
The manufacturer would probably want to put a preference on building the highest profit margin vehicles, such as @Kiwiaudio 's loaded Limited, and they may be less excited about building my Bighorn :) But they'll need to...
Thanks! As you pointed out, that wasn't my VIN, but just a sample I found online showing the coding convention.
Based on that, the group is the first 3 numbers of the 6-digit serial number. It looks like some of us who placed our order mid-November are in build group 213.
I think this will be...
That's a good point. I read the milestone schedule to mean that the scheduled date would fall within that 26 day window, but I see the ambiguity now that you point it out.
If RAM only means that they'll put the production date on the calender somewhere within that 26 day window, that would be...
Here's the current estimated milestone timeline from RAM for their 2024 factory orders:
After placing your order, it will be Confirmed within 42 days
Once Confirmed, it will be Scheduled for production within 26 days
Once Scheduled, Production will begin within 3 days of the scheduled day
Once...
