Ramboxes are available for order and are being produced, the problem is they are being produced alongside unicorns and world peace.
for some reason, the date May 2nd comes to mind as the opening window to order.
Reading your other experience with the dealer...you gotta find a new salesperson...
Shady dealer for sure. I think many members here are getting ~15% off MSRP, special order or not. Bare minimum would be invoice minus rebates as a starting point. I'd say the tricky thing about getting a dealer who is clearly playing games upfront, is the games they'll play upon closing, like...
I've seen 1 lawn mowing company actually trailering equipment with one, and no others in the central Kentucky region. But I've had mine for 6 weeks and only 1 person has came up to me and asked about it. So maybe these trucks are lurking but so stealth you dont even notice you saw it? haha. I...
I have a feeling you are going to come out of this being very, very happy. And a few employees will be looking for jobs (not that what's anyone of us here want, just retrained or re positioned). Even if the owner is fully aware of the shenanigans, money talks and when FCA and the media start...
I've driving my limited with ani-slip for about 2k miles so far. After driving a friends f150 with an open diff, its chaos when turning right and the roads are freshly wet. This is my first anti slip rear end and I figure this big truck with no weight in the back will break sliding all over the...
So, this should be a great example of this forum at it's best. @RamCares (this isn't working, do they still have an account here?) Either way, I would say this is an issue of a dealer going completely rogue and making up their old school rules as they go. If this was a Tesla, Elon Musk himself...
Glad your truck at least has a diagnosis! I may have missed it but did your dealer share why FCA doesn't recognize you as the owner, or sold in general?
I know we read about this a few months ago but I have not received an ACTUAL notice in the mail....im pretty sure at least..I get a "your jeep is going to blow up" notice on my traded 2015 grand Cherokee about once a week for the last 3 years. The thing was pretty flawless so I never took it in.
Awesome write up. Mentally, it would really mess with my head to smell that electrical burning on the etorque Rams haha, hopefully just "newness" smoking off. Cheers!
I probably wont, yet. I didn't buy the truck from the two ram dealers I've got in town, so I'd like to wait until a known issue is happening. Like the popping noise coming from the right front, if I can consistently replicate that, I'd take it in. But asking them to do some exploratory search...
If my truck died, I’d probably be pretty heavy into the drinks around 2AM....lol hard story to follow but you’ve definitely got an issue on your hands! One FCA/your dealer will make right first thing this morning. Keep us updated! And rememberto hydrate (y):coffee::D
I've heard great thing from USAA, but man I wouldn't think any other warranty other than FCA I offering. Just my two cents. It'd be nice to people would chime with how they warrantee their truck and claims that have burned them in the past
Rats...this is looking to be more and more of an issue. I tried to convince myself that going into the climate control setting and actually pressing max ac, made a difference but on a hot day when the truck has been baked in the sun, it Is able to just barely keep the cab tolerable. It's been a...
Nice work man! Thanks for doing that. When I first signed up to track my original RamBox order, I ended up printing the list out and going through the forum trying to match who ordered what....your way is much better lol. Cheers
That's pretty much my thought process. I figured I'll own this truck for the bumper to bumper 3 years, and if I love it, buy another one for the long term. Even with the maxcare warranty, I'd have an iffy feeling about owning this all new build for a decade.
I've got the clunk too. I tend to avoid taking anything to the dealership because I feel like they usually "fix" it worse than what I brought it in for. I will update if I can figure out how to routinely replicate it.
I too have posted my paperwork...but I certainly didn't get 11k off! (Jealous, @ryelinek ). My deal came down to about $7500 off, (MSRP 64k, agreed price was 56,500) and an extra 3grand than 4 other dealers had offered for my trade. I think holding out, a better deal could have been made. I sort...
I haven't used CarPlay yet....I just use bluetooth for pandora/spotify. What are you guys liking about CarPlay? Wondering if I should start using it. Cheers!
