For what it is worth, I did the 3 way switch and tied into high beams...that is the way I normally keep it...so just goes on/off w/ high beams, but can also turn on anytime with switch. Works great.
Haha....glad to have you in the club! They have to be swapped...just the way it is. I tow horse trailer with normal mirrors...even towing is better without tow mirrors.
Haha...that's funny. Can't say I blame you. About 1/2 way thru realized how much work it was. Was quite a bit of work, but really happy with it. Glad I did it, but damn.
I removed the sensors and just put them back. Quite frankly have not tested since. Don't anticipate any issues. Seemed fairly straight forward, but I will say the holders were not the best but got them back in. I made sure that the cables went the same direction, etc. I take pix during so...
@RamConvert82 Here is where I put my switch. I was going to put lower but could not find a good enough spot to actually put the switch. There was all type of obsticals...so here is where I ended up. Took time to figure out the options. There were much fewer options than I thought. I took it...
Hmmm...I got mine from him also and each seemed reasonable. I do know that the Bezel for the hood was $100+ since it has the whole top part. Ram in front was cheap. Ram on tailgate more, etc. Ask him for detailed list and you can compare to Ebay, but when I compared, he was either the same or...
Added my grille and hidden bumper lights this weekend. Was quite a bit of work but very happy with it. Thanks for all the tips on this and other threads...helped a lot. I added a 3 position switch so I can turn On/Off/High Beams. I really wanted to normally use with the high beams and it...
No. The Bypass module and genie are different. You first disconnect two cable and put them into the bypass module, then after turning truck on for about 30 sec you can put in the genie. I have pictures and instructions near the beginning of this thread.
KEEP YOUR BYPASS & GENIE. I did my mirrors a while ago. Recently went in for checkup. At end of day they said they needed to keep my truck overnight. Next day said they were having issues. Finally I asked what was the issue. They said that they installed a new software update and was...
I did the infotainment w/ Genie and the button works fine...but I would really like to have the mirrors fold when the alarm is on and unfold when the alarm turns off. Had this on my Acura and was great. Do you think that the Tazer has ability to add this? I would take it that they would...
Installing mine now, the 6" grill lights. But noticed that when I am trying to take off the front / side bumper under the headlights that after I remove the 4 screws and then unsnap the fender flare / cover, the front bumper under headlights has a bolt in the wheel well. Was a little concerned...
I know dumb question, but you first turned engine on, then connected Bypass module, then inserted the Genie...waited 20-30 seconds. When I did mine, think it took 2 times and then worked and went green.
I don't think they are magnified but seems like it. I believe they are just not wide angle like a normal passenger door mirror. Either way they suck, especially when they are down. If you go to Infotainment, there is only 2 options. Black or Chrome and Blide Spot Y or N. I felt like I was...
