I got a VIN a day or so later. Past weekend may have delayed yours a few days. Nice looking build! Congratulations!
And make sure you put your VIN in the forum tracker when you get it.
Nope! Don’t have paperwork handy but there may have been a 12-15$ filing fee or something like that. Really can’t remember. I’ll pull paperwork and be more specific in a little while. Definitely no surprises.
Yeah, I was pissed at first and certainly disappointed since I'd waited so long. But I made lemonade out of the lemons and reordered with ramboxes and mft. And SO glad I did!!! And to be honest I wasn't as pissed about reordering as I would have been driving a truck everyday that didn't have...
Then you will never drive an Audi! Apparently the German engineers drink out of sippy cups. You can't fit many of the US sized bottles in any cup holder. Drives me crazy but its my wife's car so what the hell!
I felt the same as you until I came across this forum and learned of Mark Dodge. Until then I hated dealing with a car salespersons/Managers!! Despised the games so I went into A$$hole mode most of he time and seemed to work! Absolutely none of the typical games with MD. At least not for me.
Exactly my experience. They apparently have to handle the registration if you finance. If you pay cash/wire then you have to deal with it. In my case, since they included Georgia tax/title in my total I basically financed that amount at 0%.
I can certainly understand your stance and I share it for the most part. In this instance my gut told me I could trust Aaron. A definite first with dealing with any dealership salesman! Typically I drive a pretty hard bargain and don't budge much. Really don't know why I trusted him so much...
I didn't have that problem! They did want a wire rather than a check, understandably this day and age. Very few folks take certified or bank checks anymore. Too easy to alter/counterfeit. I could of used my credit union and have them wire the funds and did get approved beforehand. But the...
Wow, first story like this I've heard about MD. Hopefully now that Aaron is involved it will get resolved. But still a PITA to have to deal with crap like this. Sorry you had a bad experience.
For me it was by far the easiest and smoothest vehicle purchase I've ever had. And FWIW they...
Buffalo Trace was good too, but we made the mistake of going on the back of the house tour. It was interesting and different from the other distilleries but it involved climbing multiple set of industrial stairs, was dirty and very noisy so I would stay away from that one. Good Bourbon though...
Good tip I hadn’t thought of. And don’t fall for “only available at distillery” or limited distribution and you will have a hard time finding it! Very true in many cases but not all. Just do a quick google search before overpaying. It is cool to dip your own botttes at Makers Mark...
Can't go wrong with a Makers Mark tour. If you happen to be close to Woodford you should stop in there. Beautiful countryside riding back to their distillery. And great bourbon. Call both first for tour details.
I am by no means an expert! But it probably depends somewhat on the type crack you have. I had a bullseye on a Lexus that I had Safelight do their resin thing. Looked Great, but a week letter I went over a speed bump and the crack expanded tenfold.
My luck would be doing what you are...
I have a Fumoto valve on my 60 gal air compressor. Constantly has a little leakage not an issue in my situation since I run a hose into a gallon bucket. Not sure if the ones for our trucks are different, but sure look the same. And to be fair I haven't troubleshot the issue or called them...
