And as many of us have done, sink a bunch of money into aftermarket customization's, I wouldn't want too and probably not have the funds to start over again! Especially after most likely taking a beating from the insurance co!!
My wife bought a Q5 Sportback in Sept '21. Still don't have a second key fob. Raised hell yesterday with the dealership owner (not GM) and supposedly they are sending a tech to my house on Monday to program the second fob. Sad it took that to get action!
As far as the car goes.......NO...
Good for you! I hung up my helmet about 5 years ago after a buddy almost got killed in a wreck while we were on a road trip. I rode home from Kentucky and immediately sold my Harley. Enjoyed the hell out of it but honestly don't miss it......much!
Thanks, I'm on 9 acres but still in a fairly populated area. Fully agree with you on "real" rural like you have is much better and safer. I just had a false sense of security by moving onto this acreage, but have significantly tightened things up now!!
That is exactly what I did, bought 9 acres and built a house. Last week some scumbag came on to my property and stole my four wheeler. Crime is spreading everywhere. I now carry a sidearm even when I'm on my property!
I’m normally with you! I’ll dicker on just about everything I buy. But in this case, after checking with about a dozen dealers in Georgia, MD quote was SO good I didn’t even bother.
MD saved me a ton of money too and it was the best vehicle purchase I've ever made. But I still wanted and got the sticker removed.. For me it comes down to a couple of things. First of all I'm not a sticker guy, although I've accumulated a bunch of cool ones over the years, I never put them...
Same experience I had in Georgia, no dealers would come off of MSRP, or MSRP + or not give a price at all. Cannot understand why dealers don't adopt the Mark Dodge philosophy of selling more vehicles for less margin and making a ton more money. Add to that the no hassle, no pressure experience...
When I picked mine up they had the MD sticker on the back window too. I had asked Aaron not to put on any dealer decals/stickers. He said that he would try to get to the delivery guys but some times they had already put it on.
As soon as we arrived my wife noticed it before I did and told...
Yeah, that's what Aaron said about changes too. He was livid when my build sheet came out and they hadn't called him!! Couldn't immediately run one down the line so I just reordered. (like many others)
Pulled my paperwork:
Gov't taxes/License/registration fees = $166
Gov't certificate of title = $18
Notary fee = $15
LA Doc fee was $444 but when I initially ordered in may '21 it was $295 so they honored that and only charged me $295.
LOL! Easier said than done!! If you are anything like me, I was on this forum several times a day checking even when I knew tracking updates were only posted daily :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: And if you have a safe, put your wallet in there and don't take it out until your truck gets in. This forum...
