Thank you very much for the reply. I believe original coils and injectors.
It's warrantee work so I will not be touching anything, wish I could, as it is an hour drive e to the dealership. Leaving the vehicle is not a pleasant idea either.
I've met the mechanic and service manager, both have...
I had my Ram returned September 28th with a new motor. At 100 miles on the motor the code P0308 popped up. It will be going back to the dealership on Monday but in the mean time I am wondering what are the possible causes. Any help appreciated and thank you in advance.
Yeah, father and father in law's batteries both suffered from that scenario. My take away from my reads a 20 minute highway ride is what is needed for a proper charge. Electrical engineers and mechanics please chime in with your knowledge and experience.
I wish I could give you some good advice.
My motor needed to be replaced under warranty. It took 4 months and nothing was done for over 3. I do believe the dealer I had it at is overwhelmed with work. Not sure if warranty work takes a back seat as it pays the dealership and mechanic less. ...
2011 Honda Fit that still has original TPMS (1 replaced - road damage) but only has 20K on the odometer.

My buddy has a 1990 something chevy truck that he uses for his lawn service and is now installing his 4th engine. I have a 1990 Toyota Celica with 193,000 miles that I keep throwing $$$ at along with a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500. I do wonder how the parts market will be 20-30 years from now and the...
September 28th will be 4 months at the dealership. Diagnosis is a dropped valve and the motor is being replaced under the "lifetime warranty", currently awaiting "parts". The dealership is backed up.
Perhaps the complexity of today's vehicles has put a strain on service in the auto industry. From talking to several mechanics there is a lack of "new blood" in the auto service industry. Of the 4 establishment that I may use the age is 2 mid 50s, mid 60 and very early 70s.
I was under the...
Acceptable time frame is the lemon law.
It's the dealership and contract, not Ram/Stellantis.
How about time for an appointment? Oops - dealership and contract.
Who supplies the parts? Who supplies the technology when the dealership can't solve the issues?
My own experience reflects very...
How long is acceptable to be parked at a dealership waiting for service, particularly under the manufacturer's 3 year warranty.
How much time to get the appointment?
My own experience reflects very poorly on Ram/Stellantis. and challenges any brand loyalty.
