40k miles on the V6, still stock suspension and tires
I live in a spread out area and get 20.0-20.5 average
When I lived in a congested area I got 18.5 average
Long freeway trips where I go around 80mph I get 15mpg, at 65 I get 23mpg
I'm a Quad Cab too so it is much lighter
Were there any fitment issues with the 35s? The RC site doesn't recommend anything over 33s for that lift, but I'm going 35s since I've seen that combo so much on here and everywhere else. What was your backspace and offset?
I like to think I'm more mechanical than I actually am so my first thought is to lean towards the Jeep and build it, but with everything I'm going to do in the next year just buying an RZR or one of it's competitors would probably end up getting more fun per dollar and hour spent ha
But like...
First, keep in mind that I live in Arizona so SxSs can be registered as street legal and driven on the street. That being said, I'd still probably need to tow it to most places I would go wheeling
I will be looking for something to do trail rides and rock crawling more than any fast desert...
I've had that same thing happen, it feels to me like it's a bog when you don't downshift in a manual.
If I give it more gas it doesn't happen.
I thought I read on here that a Pedal Commander can smooth this out
The eLocker is wonderful, but I cannot get the hill descent to work. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. 4Lo and and the locker has worked for me, but I haven't figured out the *trick* yet. Does it have to be in park first?
I wanted the Rebel because I wanted to be able to go wheeling without any mods. Being equipped with 33s, an E-locker, skid plates, and 3.92s make it a beast right from the factory
I recently found out on here it has a better (for off-roading) T case than the rest of the line as well
I didn't want to put this in the tire section because I wanted the opinions of those who live and off-road in the same conditions as I do. What kind of tires do you prefer for off-road performance for the vast majority of AZ trails? Muds or All Terrains?
I've had such good luck with BFGs in the past, as well as all of my Tahoe Toyota rock friends having the same experience that I don't even know why I'm putting myself into analysis paralysis tire shopping when I should probably just go straight for the KO2s
