Well at least its says theres an error retrieving it so your almost there.;) For me it just says its not compatible with te 12" system...
The only thing I can think is maybe there is some kind of OTA update that is being rolled out slowly but since there is no central spot online for the 12"...
I have wondered the same thing, there seems to be no simple "Off" option for media... As others stated it looks like the best solution is to just turn the volume down. I have also experienced the volume getting stuck on low, like when it goes low for the navigation to speak, but then does not...
Yeah, It seems like Vehicle Health Reports has magically started working for some yet FCA/Uconnect support will tell you that VHR is not compatible with the 12" and will provide zero information or details regarding it.... These guys are a mess and have no idea what's going on with their own...

Its my understating that the 20 & 21 have the same 12" radio, the hardware apparently changes on the 22 from what I have read...
I contacted Uconnect Cares via Twitter 3 days ago to see if they could provide some details and they never replied so they obviously don't give a crap (not surprising)...
I've noticed it does sometimes update quickly, but then disappears and does not reload the updated data (radar) for several minutes making it kind of useless/unreliable.
As for the traffic, it seems to be updating that correctly (green, yellow, red) so I'm not sure why they can't get the...
So with all of these reports of this feature (as well as other things...) not working properly, how come no one from Ramcares, Uconnect or Sirrus chimes in with an update or something? I don't even know which company would be responsible for this because they point at each other when you contact...
App version is 3.4.9 (Android), I seem to not have the steering wheel "INFO" icon on the bottom. Maybe it only works with Apple at this time which would not surprise me.
* To clarify, I put them in snug so there would be no space to vibrate/rattle. My thought was as long as the truck is not going 300 mph, there would probably be no movement with the deflector. At highway speeds (90's) it does not move, can confirm. I figured it would adhere to the plastic better...
Interesting, I have all the services still and yet this is not an option. I just tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app with no "INFO" option on the bottom. Another reason I probably will not renew these Uconnect/Guardian/whatever the hell services...
It seems like everything works sort of half assed with the 12", I really wonder why that is?
No VHR (as of right now), Nav updates/search issue, volume issues switching from nav to music (it gets stuck low occasionally), weather map not updating, no proper reset and the biggest failure beyond...
I wiped the entire underside of my deflector with alcohol, then just eyed it with the screws and installed the rubber bumpers, was the easiest part of the install. I have no idea why they suggest sticking them to the hood...
Well, installation was so so, the end clips are tight but manageable (I tapped them on with rubber mallet). They didn't line up properly at first, had to remove them & move the PPF which sucked but it worked out. I didn't put the "Bumper/rubber cone things" on the hood as that seemed kind of...
Yeah, I took that into consideration when choosing it. After reading and looking at pics I figured I could hit the screw heads with some flat black paint if needed and "adjust" the two end clips that people claim is too tight for the hood (and use the PPF). The matte black and look/profile sold...

I purchased my 1500 used, about 7 month old. Everything worked regarding the Nav online search but it was still linked to the previous owner. It was PITA to get it switched over in my name (especially the Guardian service, took over a week). I then lost the Nav search feature and the radio...
I believe this is one of those situations (having experienced it before) where they are going to continue to be vague with info, not meet promised delivery dates, provide "copy/past" replies to everyone and basically wait it out until people just give up and forget about it... I can guarantee...
