Gave mine a much needed cleaning.
Also very thankful for vented seats here in this 110+ degree Oklahoma heat. They really help to mitigate the symptoms of swamp a$$.
It’s entertaining to see the input from members in other regions of the country regarding the grill guard. Here in Oklahoma, grill guards and full replacement bumpers are quite common to see on pickup trucks, for various reasons.
The boyfriend question made me chuckle. To be honest, the main...
You won’t lose any functionality using the Windows version, it has the same features as the Android version. The Windows version is structured differently, and I have found it to be a bit more complicated to navigate, but it’s still easy enough to figure out with practice.
Appreciate it! I...
The LED bars you’re referring to are known as Signature Lighting in the BCM and are found under CBC Extern.Light Calibr when using AlfaOBD. When turned off, they will no longer come on when the ignition is in run, but will still function as parking lights.
I turned mine off and changed the DRL...
Nice work so far and thank you for being the guinea pig! This is a cool concept. I wouldn’t call it a failure yet.
I recently added the LED CHMSL to my ‘19 and was disappointed that they did not incorporate an additional cargo camera into the molded bulb portion on the right side of the...
Yes, it is a crude design but it works. It was actually issued with TIB 05-002-19. This kit is for the rear brakes only. 1x of that part # will do both sides. There were times were I couldn’t tell for sure whether the sound was coming from the front or rear, but it was definitely just the rear...
I recently installed the anti moan brake kit (Part # 68446866AA) on my ‘19 and it has completely silenced the rear brake noise. Very easy to install and well worth the $63 I paid for the kit shipped. Others have stated that the noise can possibly come back after a few years, so we’ll see how it...
Yes, the MX+ uses a Bluetooth connection. If your laptop does not have Bluetooth, I would recommend purchasing an inexpensive Android tablet instead of using some kind of OBD-USB adapter with your laptop. I use an Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus tablet (side-loaded the Google Play Store in order to...
Correct, AlfaOBD is currently not compatible with iOS. You’ll have to download and purchase a software license from AlfaOBD. You can use your Tazer in place of a security gateway bypass module. Then you’ll need some kind of an OBD interface to communicate with AlfaOBD. I use the OBD Link MX+.
You can add high-medium-low settings for the steering wheel and change the steering wheel material type so it doesn't get blazingly hot on the high setting. You can also change the seat material type so they don't get uncomfortably hot.
Correct, I tapped into the wiring behind the B pillar before it passes through the rubber seal to the door. My Kicker amplifier (46CXA4001) is capable of safely handling an amplified high level input.
I used this LLJ Customs bypass harness for my sub install with the Alpine+ANC system and it works perfectly. It simply plugs into the ANC module underneath the driver’s seat. It takes longer for the electric seat to slide forward to gain access than it does to install the harness extension. For...
What Idahoktm said… I changed mine to 2672mm using AlfaOBD and my ParkSense works perfectly. Can’t speak for the Tazer or any number higher than than 2672mm though…
