I'm just guessing but you might not be able to. The halogen bulb gave off enough heat to burn off any water vapor. The LEDs don't give off near enough. You might try a hair drier on low heat to dry up what's there now, but expect it to come back.
Trucks due in next week (I hope) So I stopped by the stealer and ordered floor mats, bed mat, window deflectors, mud flaps, chrome toe hooks and the bezel kit. Buy the time the trucks here there wont be any gas to drive it so I'll have something to do.
One thing I remember as a boy was replacement parts. If you needed a starter or generator, you had to have not only the model# but ser# and build date. Seems the factor was having money trouble (even back then) and would change parts on the assembly line on the run. Also in later years they had...
After reading some of the comments about the PC and others I was leaning hard towards the Banks unit mainly for the reverse safety built in. I'll put that on the end of the list for a bit now. Thanks Securityguy. I see you pop up in alotta threads. Much respect.
Imagine what it will cost if while on road trip you loose your fob. Almost happened to me. I'm ordering a 3rd fob to have with the battery taken out and put away safe.
My Big Horn is weeks away yet and I'm already forming a list. (damn this forum LOL)
Hellwig sway bar- One thing I haven't thought of . I took two 2021s on a test ride. My go to circuit is up a winding road into the hills of NJ (we call them mountains but they're really just hills) I...
I haven't taken delivery yet on my new Big Horn but the 2010 I have now I put a Muflex 24" on and love it. One of the first mods I'm doing is putting another one on the new truck. Back in the day Muflex was the go to muffler for the Gen 4s. Haven't seen anyone on here even mention them. Great...
I thought so also. But no, they were both 3.21. The non etorque engine just felt more responsive. Whether from a stop or accelerating at highway speed. Just didn't do it for me. Almost like bad turbo lag.
Anyway, went back today and ordered my Patriot blue Big Horn. Now the wait begins...
So I took an Etorque and a non etorque out for a test today. Not impressed with it. Felt lagging on launching. So that ends that. Now if I could only decide on a color...
Oh and something the salesman said was interesting while looking thru inventory for a truck with my options. He said the...
I did not know that. I guess I've only seen the projectors on a Laramie and presumed that was what was going on the Big Horn. Is this the one for the Big Horn?
Thanks guys. All good info. I figured as much about the LEDs. They've come a long way since I worried about such things. The HIDs served me well. I just thought I'd ask. The 33 gal tank is a no brainer. I don't do much towing anymore but the extra range is worth it.
I'm still on the rocks...
Hi everyone. New guy here. But not new to Dodge Rams. I've had a few starting with 2 vans, 2 Dakotas, a gen 3 and a gen 4. After 11 years with my gen 4 I'm thinking about an upgrade. I have a few things that I want to find out before pulling the trigger on a new Big Horn.
Hows the halogen head...
