Personally, I’m really happy. I’ll be taking it up into the Sierra mountains in a couple weeks for some off-roading and camping. My on-road impressions are positive. It’s not terribly different from stock (I had coil springs, not air suspension) in terms of ride quality on paved roads and...
Carli updated the Rebel article with a new section about options on the truck. With the RamBox and MFT options and the weight they add, they are recommending the upcoming HD coils. Even with the 1” taller springs, it still sits lower than intended with a fully optioned truck. The people at...
I’m running 35x12.5 KO2’s on Method NV’s with -12 backspacing. The shop did some trimming of the rear of the front fender liners. I’m currently experimenting with a new set of fender liners on whether it works with just heating and reshaping rather than cutting. It looks like it should be...
I have a Rebel and it does sit about 3/4” lower in the rear than it does in the front. I was not aware of them making a longer coil to remedy this. I’ll have to follow up with them and get more info. Thanks!
I got it on mine last week. I haven't been able to take it off-road yet, but soon. The ride on the street is very similar to stock, IMO. It takes sharper bumps better than stock and has less body roll when cornering.
I just got my truck back today from having the Carli Performance kit installed. I haven’t taken it off-road yet, but so far I’m really happy. It has quite a bit less body roll and the compliance over jarring hits (potholes) is better than stock. The ride comfort on road is nearly identical to...
Just from the picture of what is in the kit, it looks like you would need factory steering knuckles, sway bar end links, shocks, misc bolts, and perhaps springs at a minimum. Most of it looks like parts you would take off and not replace. You may run into trouble if any cutting or bracket...
The grille area where it meets the hood is different between the TRX and the normal sport hood. The most obvious difference is in the center of the hood where it meets the grille. It’s straight across on the TRX and dips down slightly in the center where the hood release is on the sport hood...
For people using an external battery for parking mode (Blackvue b-124x in my case), where are you hiding the battery? I’m looking for someplace out of the way. I don’t see much room under the dash or under the seats. Is there someplace behind or under the center console, elsewhere in the front...
Do you have any pictures under the truck with them mounted? I’m curious about clearances with the body, how it mounts to the frame, and what the lowest points end up being for getting hung up on things.
Any thoughts around offering them without the rear hoops? It looks like the hoops stick...
