You'll need it. looking on Rams website the Laramie looks to have the same slider as the Rebel. The 2 that have the deeper slider tray are the Limited and the Longhorn, as both have the closing cup holders.
Yep you need them both. Also, over on the thread on this swap a couple of folks say there are only 6 clips when you're removing the cupholder, but the Rebel one actually has 9, and the Limited only has six.
So I've had my truck for a little over 2 weeks and I've had 2 issues, one of which has it in the shop right now. When I first got it I heard some rubbing when I turned left. When I had enough light I looked in the passenger side wheel well, and a line was loose, none of the 3 clips that were...
Yep my wife said something similar. She was right (as she often is) It didn't hurt that I don't need a vehicle until early summer, so I ordered assuming that significant delays were likely.
Add the AJT shift knob and changed out the chrome lugs to black lugs. I was a little surprised when I removed the OEM shift knob that it is metal. I still like the feel of the AJT better.
I just designed a divider for the RAMbox, and am printing out a fitment prototype/cutting template. It takes forever to 3d print these things, but w/ the template I can get some UHMW or Phenolic sheets and cut then w/ the router.
Picked up my truck yesterday from Craig at Koons.
MSRP was $74470,
invoice was $69632.
The discount was 6.5% below invoice (tread lightly and the $1000 for using Chrysler Capitol) which came out to $65105.
I got $4000 in rebates which brought the price down to $61105 (I had $1000 bonus cash...

I finally picked my truck up today. 13 weeks from order to delivery. I went w/ Craig Benner at Koons here in the DC area. The process was relatively painless. You do have to finance w/ them or you lose $1000, which caused a bit of a slow down this morning, but it was my fault. I thought I...
What I did...Picked the truck up at the dealer, installed the Bakflip X4, a Bedrug, and the posts to use the bed divider as a bed extender. I think that's enough for today.
I just got a message from Craig at Koons that my truck showed up there today. I'll be picking it up on Friday, so my total timeline from order to pick-up is 13 weeks.
11/27: Ordered
11/19: VIN
12/05: D1 status
12/18: provisional build date reported as 12/23
01/02: back in D status
01/09: back...
No it was built early this month, and supposedly showed up at my dealer this Wednesday. It will be about 12 weeks by the time I take delivery assuming I can take delivery this weekend.
I just got an email from Ramcare saying "...your new vehicle order has been built and is showing the shipping process should now be concluded. We have been provided an estimated delivery to dealer window of 02-17-21..." I haven't heard from the dealer yet, but my salesman's day off is Wed, and...
