A combination of things works best for me. There are some CDs I really like and the audio quality is great, I can store a decent amount of music on my phone but a flash drive full really helps when there is not cell signal. I listen to XM a good deal of the time but the audio quality kinda...
I forgot to mark where my headlights were aimed before the 2.5" level kit, anyone have a ballpark idea of how many turns or a target height when parked say 10ft or 5 ft form the garage door?
Well, I found all the parts myself...changed to a combo of Motofab 2.5" Level kit + Readylift UCA's, stuck with the Pro Comp Series 46 Prodigy wheels and got a price match (saved $50/tire) on Nitto Ridge Grapplers and added the rear wheel well liners. Here she is......
No pebbles/rocks so far.
This is my first truck (been driving sedans for 40 years..) and I saw a fellow member with these exact wheels and really liked the look so I bought them.
I hope it works out, I am not "wheel educated" so don't understand how to choose the offset.
I really like...
I am pretty much done with all of the upgrades I wanted to make.
K&N filter, Pedal Commander, Infinty Ref 3032 3.5" speakers in the dash, Tyger T3 tonneau cover, rear wheel well liners, Rhino Spray in bed liner, made my under rear seat storage, Ionic 5" Stainless Nerf Bars, 2.5" Motofab...
2.5" Motofab with Ready Lift UCAs, Pro Comp Prodigy 18x9, Nitto Ridge Grappler 295/70r18
Before and after
I am very happy with the additions! No rubbing anywhere.
Had my driver and front passenger windows tinted to match the rears.
this will also be the “before” picture since I just picked it up after the install of - a Motofab 2.5” level kit with new Readylift UCA‘s, new Pro Comp wheels with 295/70r18 Nitto Ridge Grapplers and rear wheel well liners...
Well I decided that my budget did not support every upgrade I wanted to do so...I swapped out the Kickers for the Infinity Reference 3032 3.5” and I am very satisfied with the sound now. Great highs (no, I am not in Colorado o_O) but balanced and sweet, not harsh. I am putting the money into...
No, my doors have no button and no proximity unlock. Many complaints about this even some even claiming false advertising for saying “remote keyless entry”
I have the guidance volume turned down to 1, same loud as if it were on 7 or 8, several threads on this problem
My dash lighting is bright...
This!
I come here for inspiration, which means spending money - although I do save from the DIY advice given here, and for help when I have questions. I try to ignore the problems - unless I think I can help and focus on how great my truck is. This is my first truck and I could not be happier...
That looks great! I am even more excited now for mine.
I have new wheels and the 2.5" Motofab + Readylift UCA's get delivered today. The local 4WheelParts store has my Nitto Ridge Grappler 295/70r18 tires waiting. I tried to save a few bucks and get Falken Wildpeaks but could not find a set...
I'll chime in for the Pedal Commander, now my truck feels like it has a Hemi in it.
Bought it used off the Buy/Sell part of this forum and it was a breeze to install.
Tried various settings but settled on Sport -3 for now, Sport 0 was great but I felt like I only had about 1/8 of the pedal...
Dropped off the Bighorn for ceramic coating, will post pictures when done.
Ordered Pro Comp Prodigy 18" wheels, Motofab 2.5" leveling kit w/Readylift UCA's, Nitto 295/70R18 tires and picked up a pr of rear wheel well liners.
Will post before and after pictures on all of that.
