Got mine installed today and wow, this thing's heavy duty. From what I can tell there will be just enough room to put a light just above the step, might do that tomorrow.
I don’t have the wiring diagram anymore, I know there’s at least one more guy on here who has it. But the easiest thing to do would be to check them with a test light, it would most likely be a white wire with a colored tracer on it.
Lots of lakers and rainbow down deep on Cayuga and Owasco, downriggers are the way to go if those are the fish you're lookin for. But we mostly troll around the shallow water for bass, little bit more entertaining.
That would definitely concern me. Those parts were clearly not galvanized correctly, or even at all. Dealer should take care of that no questions, but in the meantime I would coat that area in wd-40 or even some grease if that's all you have laying around.
We got a brand new 2018 laramie longhorn southfork edition and the air suspension fuse blew 4 times. Dealer replaced the compressor already, that was about 4 months after delivery.
It does press down on the plastic bed rail, had I known this I would’ve pulled the rail up and used washers to close the gap between the top of the metal bed rail and the underside of the plastic rail cap. I just figured they designed the rail similar to the previous gen trucks which had no gap.
Here's a link to the manual, don't know how much help it's gonna be though as I'm fairly sure there isn't a way to adjust it.

I found two different types for the front doors, they should be cheap enough I would just get both and see what works. Hope this helps.

I've been remote starting the truck every morning for about 5 minutes before I leave, and the same after work. I've been averaging 10.0 mpg exactly as of tonight.
Dealerships hate stocking anything they're not absolutely positive won't get used asap. Otherwise they get stuck with odd things that are just gonna sit on the shelf, then they end up paying an inventory tax at the end of the year on everything they couldn't sell. It's a problem we have to deal...
I don't think it would be missing, it's most likely just not working. Me -as well as many others- got light strips that just don't work at all, I've looked up there and see the strip but it doesn't light up for some reason.
