I got the Motofab 2.5 spacers and Readylift upper control arms installed yesterday. The first side was a pain and the second side went much quicker. I probably had a total of 5.5 hours in the job. I spent a lot of time bringing all of the needed tools from one garage to the other. My good...
I think they are fine. They seem bright and the high beams reach out quite far. I live in the country and there are deer everywhere. They seem wide enough to light up the sides. I also really like the way the lights come on to illuminate the sides as I turn.
I have had my oil changed at the fast lube and they filled my tires to the maximum psi on the tire sidewall rather than what was called for on the door placard.
I have found the best way to set tire pressures on oversized tires is to place a chalk mark across the tread section, and then drive...
Here are a few phone pics. Not sure how they will look.
New upper control arms and 2.5 level go on the front tomorrow. Wheels and tires will be mounted next week when the new TPS arrive.
My truck arrived last week and I picked it up at the dealer last Friday afternoon. I ordered it on August 30.
I decided on white and I ordered it with the mountain tan and black interior. The salesman asked if I was sure if I wanted that color, and told me they had never ordered one with that...
I am a Mopar guy, but you gotta love the LS engine swaps. They are reasonably priced and very well supported. They also make lots of horsepower cheap and last forever.
My wife’s Grand Cherokee, Mazda 3 hatchback, and a 51 Willys M-38 (sort of - Wagoneer 44’s, Chevy LS, 4L60 E, Bronco Dana 20, custom built frame, Warn 8274, Nitto 37-14.50-15’s). It is a work in progress.
I have had black rims on several vehicles the last few years. I have purchased polished aluminum for my new Ram.
Your truck looks great. The right wheels can sure make the difference.
I have never been a big GM fan, but I do agree the 6.2 with the 10 speed transmission is a great towing option. Tests show more power and descent fuel economy. However, I find it odd it cannot be ordered on every trim level. I also think they have done some good things with the bed...
You can go to the Ram Truck web site and configure a truck like you want it. You can then search within 150 miles. It will not only give you possible perfect matches but ones that are close to what you are looking for. I have used it several times and it works well.
Happy hunting.
I just received my most recent email from Ruff Stuff Specialties. They are now selling overlanding type fold up tents that can be mounted rooftop or bed top. This is what I would like to have for my truck. I have a JD Square tube bender and it is set up for 1 3/4 tube. I would fab up some...
Call me old fashioned, but I like the whiter light put out by the halogens. I have not driven the Ram with the LED’s so they may be better than my wife’s old BMW. On my last truck I ran the old KC Daylighters because I liked them better than the LED’s I have seen on other’s Jeeps.
I ordered...
I have owned three Cummins diesels before this truck, and have always found it well worth it to own a cheap good gas mileage car to use driving to work and run errands. I live in the country so I put on a lot of miles. As much as I love driving my trucks, I like to save the miles. I figure the...
Thanks for the information. I found them on Ebay for $316.00, but when I checked out I got them for $269.14 with free shipping. I now have all of the parts I need for the front. Still waiting on ordering tires. Thanks again Vader.
Just spoke to Readylift. They said they sell the individual arms for upto model year 18. They do not sell them for 2019 or newer models. You must purchase them with the 3.5 or 2.0 leveling kit. When I looked at their website, it says they are out of the 2.0 leveling kit and you can be put on...
