Depending on the brand, some tires may be advertised as 35’s but truly measure closer to 34. I ran into that problem with my 2500 with the Cummins. My tires were “37’s”, but actually measured 36. Try entering 34 and see if your speedometer isn’t closer.
Funny. My grandsons call me pawpaw. My trucks will have bigger tires and some lift as long as I can still get in them. I just can’t leave things alone.
Truck looks great, and I think the factory wheels look nice set out wider.
I agree with the silver comment and not showing dirt. Silver, white, and grey all are better at not showing the dirt as bad.
As for the heading of your post, what do you mean you are finished? Are they ever really...
You can read reviews on both the Readylift and Rough Country lifts by doing a search on this site. In general, it seems like most people are happy with both brands of lift.
I have Readylift Upper control arms on my truck. They are a quality piece.
I have seen many dealers advertising new Ram...
To me, LED’s put out a bluish light. If you get the projector LED lights, they will perform a little better. I just can’t see spending $1000 on lights that are tested to perform at the same level as the halogen lights.
Not saying I am right. To each his own. But for me, I had other things I...
I have had my truck a couple of months now and have about 1500 miles on it. I have a few observations regarding running 35 inch tires with the 3:92 gears.
I manually check fuel economy every tank. My speedometer is off .08, so when I fill, I take the mileage for that tank X 1.08 to get the...
I have the stock system, and I also think it sounds good. It has plenty of bass and volume for me. I am sure if you were one who really likes to crank up the stereo, a more expensive system might be in order. I think it is better than many stock systems I have had in other vehicles.
Scientifically, not a perfect test. I do like them running that area though. It is definitely real world type of towing and they keep the loads the same.
I would like to see comparison testing on long hill runs but at lower elevation. It would be interesting to see how they all compare in a...
I agree. And running that stretch it is very difficult not to get caught up in slower traffic. In watching their videos, I think they use another truck for filming and trying to block off traffic when the towing vehicle needs to change lanes.
The truck they used was definetly an air ride equipped truck and it had the 3:92 gears. They were very impressed with the air ride and how well the steering felt. I have driven both the Off Road Group equipped truck (which I own) and a Laramie with standard suspension. In my opinion, the Off...
Thanks for the replies guys. As I said, I still love the truck.
I am running the tires at 40 psi. Had them at 44, but the middle of the tire was taking most of the wear.
Billy James _ I want your fuel economy. :)
OK. I have about 1300 mile on my truck so I know it is not fully broke in. I just filled after a little over 250 miles. 80 percent was driving interstate (65 and 70 MPH). I drove the speed limit There was a headwind going south and a good tailwind going north. I live in the country, so...
I have the Bighorn with buckets, console, and level 2 which includes heated seats. They are very comfortable. I had leather in my last Ram, and would not have them unless they are cooled, which mine were. If you purchase the Bighorn and decide you want leather later, you could always switch...

Fast Hemis shows this whipple supercharger being for a 2019. Not sure if they mean the classic models. It doesn’t say.
Depending on your wheel offset, you may need to massage your plastic inner fender liners. There is a post regarding how to do it. The process is fairly simple. I did it and have no rubbing now.
You might give these guys a try. Their GMC dealership sells more truck than any dealer in the U.S. They also have a Ram dealership and they definitely deal. They are near St. Louis. Here is the link.
