I helped a buddy put the 2.5 Motofab spacers on his 2019 classic last weekend. No rub before and rub after. I know with the new spacer installed it can only go in one way. I may have missed someone else’s post on this, but I wonder what would happen putting the struts on the opposite side. Would...
There have been a few others who have sold their after market system here on the forum and returned to stock. If you kept your factory system, that should be fairly easy. One member got rid of his factory system so he found another member to trade their stock system for his after market one...
I looked as close as I could just now. It feels like the plastic dust cover rubs on the inside of the strut ( engine side). There is plenty of room on the outside. I cannot see without grabbing a creeper and going under the truck. I will get under the truck when I am at place I can do so. I...
Nice rsonedecker. So what shocks do you have? The ones with the 1 inch lift or the stock shocks. Should be a simple fix if the factory failed to install the correct suspension parts. Out with the stock and in with the parts for the ORG. If you are wanting to stay about stock height, tell...
I did try to use spring compressors. The way the strut tower is shaped it made it almost impossible to turn the strut assembly to line up the top bolts. I ended up taking the spring compressors off because for me they were a pain. Others may have used them with success.
I am not sure how the Pulsar works. The unit I used on my Cummins was a Banks programmer. Using the Banks, they asked for tire size diameter in inches. If I remember correctly, I could enter in 1/4 inch increments.
If you are still higher then you need to increase your tire size. I used two...
I was looking to see if anyone made pre-runner type wide fenders for the 5ht generation Ram. I looked at Fiberwerx fenders when I had my 2011 Ram 2500, and I always liked the look of their products. Anyway, they now have 4 inch bulged and 2.5 inch rise fenders for our trucks. It reminds me a...
I have a crew cab Bighorn with ORG and 2.5 lift/level on the front. You may have seen my post in MPG with 35’s.
I put the 35’s on at about 500 miles. I knew it would effect the mileage some. I was averaging about 13-13.5 on the interstate at 70, and yes I hand calculated My speedometer .08...
I sold a 2011 Cummins for this truck. Nicest truck I have owned. Carli suspension, 37 Pro Comps, Bilstein shock, and more.
But here is my all time favorite. 68 Jeep M715. 6.0 Chevy, 700R4, 203/205 doubler, Dana 60 and 14 bolt, and a whole lot more. Should have never sold it
I just filled up for the first time since putting my factory wheels and tires back on for winter. Most of the miles were interstate but I also had other mixed driving with this tank.
The computer mileage showed 16.5. When I hand calculated the tank it was actually 18.1 MPG. I was pretty...
If I remember correctly there is a member here that did a YouTube video on the installation. You might check it out.
The spacer studs should be spaced where the strut can only fit one way. The top should line up and then get the nuts started so it can’t slide out. I had to use a big pry bar...
Thanks. The air suspension takes a different type of lift than the trucks with coil spring. Try doing a look up on the site. I know others have talked about what is available.
Should be the same process to remove as install. Installation requires removal and replacement of the strut assembly. Removal of the spacer will be the same. Make sure to have the front alignment checked if you remove the spacer.
