I’ve heard a few guys on here saying it’s just the 3 brake light and putting on a new gasket will fix the problem. I’m out of warranty with my 60,000 miles and was hoping that I could fix the leak without having to spend $1500 or so out of pocket.
My dealer parts department quoted me $1050. I didn’t even wait for the service department to give me a quote on labor. I told them I’d have another dealership work on it. If I’d been quoted around $570, I would have bought it.
I opened a case with Ram Cares before I made the appointment. Unfortunately my service advisor is honestly clueless. She actually misunderstood what my problem was and thought I had a leak coming from the floor and so I had to bring in my truck a second time because they use a subcontractor that...
I’ve had nothing but issues with this dealer. It’s a small dealership that sells and services both Ford and Ram. I always say I’m going to take it to the dealer an hour away but it’s across the street from where I work.
As far as warranties go, a $50,000 truck less than 2 years old shouldn’t have interior plastic pieces crack and water leaks. I can understand with my mileage the motor having wear and tear but water leakage shouldnt be such a common problem for the time I’ve had the truck.
A lot of things can...
How many miles were on your truck? Unfortunately for me I have 60,000 miles on my 2019 1500. I just picked up my truck from the dealer to get looked at. I’ve got a couple cracks in my plastic trim around the back glass and have a waterfall when it rains. Dealer told me $1050 for the back glass...
I like the look of the GM trucks but not the interior. That was as my deciding factor in getting a Ram.
I’ll try the silicone. Don’t care about the cracks. Thanks for the suggestions.
The dealership called me and said they would have to replace the back window and it would be around $1000 plus labor. I’ve got 60,000 miles so I’m out of warranty. They said it wasn’t a common problem and there wasn’t anything they could do. I’m ready to sell my Ram.
I just just dropped my 2019 1500 Big Horn off at the dealer to get it checked out. I’ve got a crack on both sides of the power window on the plastic window surround. I’ve got 60,000 miles so I’m pretty sure the dealer is going to say I’ll have to pay out of pocket. I’ve already opened a case...
I called a dealership that’s an hour away because they have the customer first award. There’s a dealership right across the street from where I work but I’ve had nothing but issues with them and another one 30 mins away but since neither one of those two have this award. Anyways, the guy on the...
Well damnit. I just looked in my backseat this morning and found a puddle in my backseat. Noticed a crack on the window surround and found water coming out of that crack.
I’ve got a 2019 1500 Big Horn crew cab with the 76.3” bed. I read that the walls are taller than in the previous generation body but whatabout the length and width of the beds? Did those dimensions stay the same? I’m just trying to figure out if I can use an older model tonneau on my 2019.
As others had stated earlier, it’s supposed to be plug and play. Will that still be true swapping to a seat with heat and venting if I only have heated? I don’t care about the venting. I just need want ro swap my passenger non power heated seat to a powered heated seat.
I found a good deal at a junkyard for a Laramie passenger seat with power, heat, and vent. I’ve got Big Horn with drivers side power and heat. I’m not worried about the different seat covering because I’ll just swap my Katzkin but what about the vent option?
If it’s going to save you money over similar new vehicles, then it would be a no brainer for me. I bought by 2019 Ram Big Horn used and saved about $10,000 over comparable new Rams.
Do I like brand new vehicles? I sure do but as soon as you drive off the lot, the value of the vehicle drops...
You need to go through the design process. Like where it says to choose your design, you need to do the steps and on the last step you can enter your zip code.
Try the link below. I went through the steps for you.

Definitely recommend searching for the alpharex group buy thread. A lot of good info on there for installation and troubleshooting. I would know. I had some issues and got the help I needed on that thread.
