assuming you're price protected, you get a 2023 model for 2022 price. You should be at least already ahead by 1K since they have increased prices since you've ordered. Congrats on the equity! Only downside is interest rates might be super high by time you take delivery so save that cash now...
This window sticker that I am looking at has it as a charge.

Also interesting to note I got a quote from Mark Dodge earlier this month and then another from that Dolan Dodge in Reno, Nevada. Dolan Dodge showed a $2700 charge for the eTorque on Limited. Not sure if it was an actual change by FCA or what, but they were saying the base limited comes standard...
Didn't place one fortunately. I've been mulling the order all month long due to the base increase. It sounds like the ordering for 1500s this year is going on much longer than last year. Seems like demand is dropping or their capacity to manufacture increased.
The picture I screen grabbed is what they use for both the Longhorn and Limited now on the website as standard. It sounds like they are giving the two-tone paint rim as the base color.
Just confirmed with MD that they are still providing the Long Horn rims on the Limited. I gently asked for the 22inch for free but they didn't want to entertain that. I am walking away from the deal now that the base price is 68,185 (66,185 + 2000) to get a truck that looks like a Limited.
wow. I am glad i've been oogling at Limited trucks every day as I may order one. They should have swapped the Limited 20 inch standard rim for the Southwest Laramie 20 inch rim. Those are the best ones IMO..I may ask on Monday if they will upgrade me at no cost.
How long did the shop hold your truck for? One shop quoted me 2-3 days, and then I found a certified xpel installer who is mobile and claims they can do it in 3-4 hours. Seems like they have good reviews, but they don't do any of the prep work. They asked me to wash my car etc.
Yeah that’s unfortunate. Perhaps they were trying to change the order but didn’t know they couldn’t. I went through MD who is very experienced with the ordering process. Maybe raise a stink and point out that if it had been replaced when instructed you wouldn’t have had the increase or perhaps...
Vehicles aren’t editable once the order is accepted by FCA. There was a price increase in June so that would explain the increased price on your new vehicle.
If you order through MD you are locked at your order price, your window sticker will show a higher price than what you paid. At least in my state that actually works against me because I think they value my car registration at MSRP.
I've been shopping vehicles again and visiting my old stomping grounds. I was surprised to find Toyota hasn't had nearly as many price increases as Stellantis, maybe it's because toyotas don't have any features. Tacoma in 2020 was 39K for off road, it's now 40.5K. Whereas my Laramie has...
Yes, I was most definitely freaking out at the end. I haven't experienced the issue since then. I guess it should also be noted that the last surge I most definitely did not have my foot on the accelerator.
Just curious, is the surging people reporting in this thread similar to the thread/video I have about sudden acceleration? '22 Laramie eTorque 5.7 4x4.
Hrmm...now i wonder if I accidently hit cruise control. I don't even know where the button is. Where is the button?
Here is a video of what happened to me this week. Was it similar?
I also have a '22 eTorque 5.7
