I would think that if they are preparing for "Start-Up" that they would be scheduling some of the 22 D1s. It seems that they are not so this makes me a little afraid that things might not jump into production right away after the lay-off.

Wow, that's amazing, I wonder how this happened. Be interesting to know what their reasoning was and how it bubbled up. Do you know if it is actually in the build process? I know they don't give ship dates unless their is a firm build schedule for the order. Have you seen a window sticker yet?

They are adding a lot of D1s but no one is getting a date when their build is scheduled to start. That leads me to believe that having an early D1 change doesn't necessarily your scheduled build date will be early.

My Nephew did that and it was a major job and, in his words, a bummer of a job. Best to get it as an option on the order even if you only might need it in the future.

Mine is in D1 and RAM Chat said they had the parts which was a change and sounded like D1 but they wouldn't give out the code. Called the dealer they confirmed D1.

I wonder why my D1 status change is so far out of sequence. Lucky or something else.

I was also told by my dealer that they still have 3 2021s sold orders in D1 status which means that there a lot of 2021s to build yet before they get really serious about the 2022s.
