Glad to hear it's improved for you guys. I took the hard route, to not much benefit, prior to knowing that the 6x9s can function decently by themselves. Spent several hours installing a PAC interface, amp, and running wires to feed the factory sub with a clean signal (didn't want to lose any...
You don't have to remove carpet or anything. It's a 5 minute job to disconnect the plug. Release the rear seatbacks using the string behind them (only applies to reclining seats I believe). Pop the 4 (?) plastic clips to release the rear wall carpet, and tug at the passenger side corner to pull...
I've never seen any extended "warranty" that covers trim or cosmetic issues. If you're still under 3/36 warranty, it's covered. Otherwise you'll have to fight for FCA or your dealer to goodwill it.
Make your own (if you have the patience). Guesstimate how many gallons you need to fill the tank, then fill half with 91 and half with 87... takes a minute longer to do, but saves a bit of money vs pure 91 and gets you to 89. Always fill with 91 first though... otherwise you lose some 91...
I love Costco and almost exclusively fill our vehicles with their fuel because it's cheap, good, and fresh... but there in no way increasing octane by 2 points raised your MPG that much. Other factors were at play.
If you use their Citi Visa, indeed. Only downside is you get the cash back once...
The RAM engineer in Matt Maran's video awhile back claimed 1.7 ounces of fuel is burned in 90 seconds with a HEMI... so 1.3 ounces per minute. He also claims "most" people are stopped for about 15 minutes per day. He must be taking an average including dense city folk who are in gridlock...
Definitely don't think it's worth waiting for at this point. Nobody knows what is happening with the screen - are they upgrading the 12", axing it completely for the 10" like the rest of the lineup, or just loading UC5 on the 12"? And what happened to Android Automotive (not your phone) which...
What? I thought RAM said they were adding vented seats and some other tech features to the Rebel for 2020 since it made no sense to leave those features out... weird they haven't made good on their word. I have had 0 issues with the factory wireless charger and think it works great (except for...
Good grief that looks terrible, especially on the sport hood. I really hope they weren't stupid enough to put the blue font on trucks with black appearance packages. And you guys actually want that badge? Mind blown... and this is coming from a guy who has owned Tesla's and loves...
There is. It's in the housing with the camera. There's no way you could have ACC or emergency braking without some type of distance and speed measuring device.
I've driven trucks with and without, haven't really noticed a huge difference. Traction control mimics it with braking the slipping wheel, but I'm not sure how effective that is compared to LSD. My rear wheels still spin pretty easy when wet even though I have LSD - if they're both spinning, LSD...
How do you go from a Big Horn to a Denali? Not exactly equal price points there. Anyway, the Chevy/GM redesign was a failure. Whoever was in charge of that project was hopefully fired. They look and ride like a truck from a decade ago. RAM has raised the bar. If anything, a new F150 might be a...
I agree it's the mower's fault for hitting the truck, but hanging your rear end out over the grass isn't cool either. Grass obviously needs mowed, and parking your rear over the grass/beyond the curb isn't worth the damage that you just experienced. But if you can't park further up without being...
Air suspension is a must. Helps with towing, payload, and comfort immensely.
33 gallon tank obviously isn't needed unless you're trekking hundreds of miles without fuel stations, but it's just really nice to have.
12" display has a nice "wow" factor, but I actually prefer the way the 8.4" screen...
Yes it does. Do some more research on it. Specifically, rather than using the transmission clutch packs to slow down the engine speed to upshift gears like a normal vehicle, the starter-generator increases load on the drive belt (& consequently the engine) causing the engine to slow down...
Either look at the wiring diagram and remove the wire pins from the harness at the amp under the driver seat, or pull back the rear wall carpet. Sub is located on the passenger side and wire plugs in with a white clip.
Waste of money. Put one in my 6.4 SRT Jeep years back - tuned, intake, full exhaust, and noticed and logged 0 difference. These are pickups. Performance mods in general are a waste of money. Exhausts, I can understand for sound. But trying to make a pickup quicker is just pointless.
I don't notice any difference between them. Theoretically CarPlay should be better because it's using audio sent via USB and not Bluetooth compression.
