Oh no... that's like the holy grail of features for me... GOTTA have telescoping steering. Lack of that one feature will 100% prevent me from buying it.
There are a few MUST haves for me... tele steering is one, ventilated seats, 33 gallon tank and center console. If those are not...
Thanks for the education. I don't think I've ever driven a 2500, but it sounds like there is quite a bit of difference between the two.
While this would serve for towing a trailer, it will also have to serve as a daily driver 50 miles a day. I don't think I can give up that much in overall...
Actually considering this, even though I said I'd wait awhile, but I am curious of those who have gone from a 1500 to a 2500, what are the major differences outside of towing?
Is the 2500 as quiet as the 1500? Gas mileage probably takes a hit?
I don't remember the total, although I think I posted it here somewhere.
I don't know how much the extra tank size weighs, but gas is 6.3 pounds per gallon... so 10 gallons extra is 63 pounds when it's full.
The Legatia X3 is $979 for the pair. They are by far the best sounding dash speaker I've ever heard. I would definitely not try to run these off of the factory power. With a good quality aftermarket amp and DSP for timing, they are magical.
I've ran Hertz in a couple of my vehicles in the...
I never did... since I went the Legatia route. However... I did put the Legatia speakers in my wife's Lexus and have not replaced mine just yet. I have the FaialPRO 4" in the dash right now, and they sound pretty good ... better than factory. I have a miniDSP with an amp to connect... just...
I've heard about campsites being restricted on size, and that is definitely something to consider and keep in mind.
Camping seems to have really taken off this year... maybe COVID has boosted it with people trying to get out and not stay cooped up inside all the time.
I was reading reviews...
Yep... we are now looking at TT's with a hitch weight of around 5-600lbs and a dry weight of around 5,000... and no more than about a 25-26ft if possible. There probably isn't near as much to choose from, and keeping my wife out of those fancy models is NOT easy. "Oh honey, but I like this...
We are good... he reached out to me privately and explained. As long as I know he was not pointing directly at me, I am fine.
I have thick skin, but I still don't want to be disrespected, if that is what is intended, which it now does not appear to be. I own a forum with about this many...
Referring to me as that "Damn guy" and in third person is very disrespectful... and if you are going to be disrespectful to members, you don't need to be a moderator... or I don't need to be a site supporter.
I came here to ask a question (or two) and seek assistance. Please excuse me for...
Okay... so we were originally looking at travel trailers and my friend got us side-tracked on 5th wheels. IF we got back to considering a travel trailer. I am curious as to what we can safely pull with my truck.
I was mistaken on the payload... transposed the numbers. Sticker in door well...
We are not much for dry camping, so we'd be parking where there is hookup... so no reason to haul water, and we do indeed travel very light as for my wife and I. However, I still haven't added the 5th wheel hitch in the bed (puc?)... and I've also exchanged my 23 gallon tank for a 33 gallon...
