Specific tastes often require specific orders. That, or let a volume dealer know what you're looking for and for them to call you if/when something like that is headed their way. Be prepared to give on something if you aren't willing to order exactly what you want.

Glad you got that deal. Without knowing condition and equpiment, sounds like your buyer overpaid. I know used truck values are all over the map, but 45k for a 2014 with 85k miles is...a lot. I'm not looking to sell, but certainly would if someone is silly enough to overpay that much.
If you know where people are giving 55k for used laramies with 35k miles, let me know. I've got a 2020 Laramie, well equipped, with 5k I'd let go for 65k...

Things(technology AND consumer preferences) change, often rapidly.
If I'm interpreting the question properly, it is seeing if left running and locked sans fob, will the truck be able to be driven away should someone break in. A previous vehicle I had wouldn't move from P to D if the fob wasnt in the vehicle. I havent tested this in my truck.
