Got a question, just got my 22 Backcountry build sheet. It does not list a 3.92 rear axle but does show e-locker. There was 3 build sheets today, all backcountry, 1 lists 3.92 but the other 2 do not. Thought all Backcountrys had 3.92's, is that true or not?
Looks like all 3 Big Horns have the Back Country package, 1 of which is mine. Question, only 1 shows 3.92 axle ratio. Does Backcountry also come in 3.21 with e-locker?
Ordered my Back Country late June. Have an estimate ship date on 1 Oct. I would guess Nov for you to go into build status. But, build are all over the place IMO. Once yours shows scheduled (D1), your dealer should have an estimated ship date.
Been reading all these comments and my take in simple terms. 3.21 vs 3.92. Only difference is first and eight gear. 3.92 is better for towing only because first gear is much lower, better "out of the hole". 8th gear (3.92) is the same as 7th (rpm/power band wise) as 3.21, results in higher...
You can get it added to tracker and view the list to compare your VIN with others and when they are being built. Limited get built quicker than others, looks like they are in the 400-415 VIN range (the 3 digits after the NN on your VIN.
I order mine the 23rd of June, just got scheduled this week, not uncommon to wait a while to get scheduled depending on model on options you ordered. Mine was a BackCountry.
Means they have all the parts and putting your order in line to build. D1 status. Seems like it will take 3-4 weeks to go in productions. BTW, mine went scheduled on 15th also.
