What part did they say is defective? The generator/alternator assembly? That's about the only part I can think of that could fail other than the battery pack behind the seat. I just looked up the E-Torque unit on the engine, p/n 68438054AE and it shows my local dealer has in stock, list price...

What has been the issue with shipping? I thought they had a pretty good system and most people got there vehicles delivered pretty quick. Has something changed?

Yours was 13 days from shipped to dealer lot, ahead of the estimated date. Not bad. It looks like they give themselves some leeway in their estimates.

BTW, on the Laramie build, the tracker said eta was 8/30, then a few days after it was delivered the tracker finally updated and showed delivered on 8/20. So it appears the Ram tracker site is not the most reliable or up to date info.

As of this morning, the train was in Addis, Louisiana....about 8 miles south of Port Allen. I was told it could still take a while by the time they unload the rail cars and stage the new vehicles. Hopefully it goes relatively quick, the suspense is killing me.

Does anyone know how long the trip takes by rail from the plant to the port in Louisiana? Mine is on it's way and was in Decatur, IL as of this morning. It looks like about 726 miles from there to the port in Louisiana, and then another 2 hours to Mark Dodge. Of course there is time involved...
