If you want to pay someone, why not just go to a local locksmith? That's what I did when I bought my $39 fobs off eBay. I think it was something like $80 to cut the metal valet keys and also program the fobs.
You are saying that my trip meter AND the Fuel Economy page on the main display are only telling me my MPG for the last 50 or 60 miles?
If that were true, then that would certainly explain my hand calculated numbers being different - on the tanks where, for example, I did a long highway trip...
That is awesome. I wish mine was...
I track all mine in Fuelly. I add a note with every fill-up saying what the computer says. Then I reset Trip 2 and the Fuel Economy gauge. I look back through them all and compare what my note of the computer says versus what Fuelly says. It is pretty sad how...
You have no reason to doubt the Lie-o-meter? If you haven't checked it by hand on a number of occasions, then why would you have reason to believe it?
I have logged every single fill-up I've done since I bought my '19 Hemi in June of '19. I traded it for a '21 EcoDiesel in July of '22.
In both...
When I did the swap in my '19, I got the battery at Costco. I think they only had the Interstate H7, so that's what I got.
It was still working fine in my '19 when I traded it in, but that was only 5K miles later.
IIRC, the H7 is the actual spec battery. The H8 is the "overkill" battery.
I looked hard at No Mar before buying my first Atlas.
Fully setup and ready to go, the Atlas was only something like $400 more. It was been WELL worth it, to me. I've had one since around 2006. Over that amount of time, the extra $400 is just nothing. The convenience of the power turn table and...
$20K for a tire changer?!? Whoa!
I have had an Atlas TC221 for years. It was about $1,000 when I bought it. Now it seems to be up to almost $2,000.
I mostly use it for changing motorcycle tires. But, I have used it to change the tires on my truck wheels at least once.
I change tires on my...
That is seriously impressive. I had a '19 Hemi with a 3.92 and my average over 72K miles was 14.1 MPG.
Mine was all hand calculated.
I should have made that point before. Besides what rear end you have, it's also important to note whether it is hand calculated or based on what the dashboard...
My '19 started on whatever input it was on when I shut it off. My '21 is the same way.
I have the 12" multimedia. Don't know what firmware version I'm on.
I never owned a 300XC. I swapped my 525EXC with a buddy once and rode his 300. That was all I needed to know it was not for me! That 525 was Da Bomb, though!
LOL! I have loved all the KTMs I have owned (3, including my current one). But, I never had one and would never buy one... until I found out I could buy replacement plastics with no orange... I love KTM, but I HATE orange... lol!
My current '16 Super Adventure is almost all white/grey. But...
We have nice trucks. We want to drive them! :)
I've had my '21 for almost 11 months now and have put over 23K on, so far. And I work from home, so no commuting for me.
It may be because the sunroof has the cover panel (sun shade?). Maybe that traps heat in a way that you don't get with those other windows. Plus being hit directly, when the sun is over head.
All I know for sure is that, when I want to pay a professional to do something for me, and they are...
When I got my windows tinted, I wanted the pano done, too. But, the installer strongly advised against it. They said putting tint on the sunroof causes the glass to get a lot hotter than it would otherwise. They said that makes it much more likely for the glass to just break. Or something like...
My current truck is a '21.
It also won't move with the door open - unless the seat belt is fastened. You can fake it by buckling the seat belt behind yourself, if you want. I just close the door when I need to move.
