I wonder if there's something to this....... You can only wait so long until you have a "moment" when the frustration comes out. Saturday was my moment. The GM of the dealer did say that my car has to be built by the 12/13 as that's latest Ram production has it mandated. He said my truck is...
In the wheels and tires forum you can see the options of sizes on your BTS. 285/60/20 is no issues and if you step it up to a 65 tire then it will rub at full extension turns.
For clarity they have the parts to fulfill 20% of the currents orders is what I was told. He also said they stopped Fleet, police and Enterprise orders to try and catch up.
Better update on the truck. It’s hard to see the options that are grayed out that can’t be selected. The boxes don’t have a black ring around them. This was an explanation to the options and a screen shot on what options are issues.
***Update***
I did get a phone call back from a supervisor yesterday. He stated he was not associated with the escalation department who has my case/vin. He stated Cara is in the one handling my truck and he would have her contact me. I told him Cara isn't real and its just a rug in which they...
Did you get anything useful? Sounds like a call back and talk to someone else. I called the 800 number on the Mopar site yesterday and the lady I spoke with was completely in the dark. 10 Min in the phone call she asked what year my Van was......... It's just a cluster**** of inconsistency
You would think there would be someone looking after the early orders or there is a flag that goes up when someone looks into it. It's a different response and it than what I've gotten in months so well will see what happens tomorrow.
I just got off the phone with a supervisor from Ram Care. He saw my case number and read into the history. He stated once cases sit too long they go into a suspended status and require a supervisor or manager to approve and expedite it from that stage otherwise it will just sit in the scheduling...
Yeah. Its been a fun journey. They fixed and sold that truck locally so now I not only have to wait but also get to see that truck drive around. The only thing that's satisfying is the new bedside doesn't match.
I'm in the same boat. My truck is just sitting in D status and has been for awhile. I can't get a straight answer but I will be contacting my dealer to change the color as I would like my truck before the snow starts coming. There are Hydro Blue trucks with WS as just updated but its a 102 vin...
Its my first choice but if I have to change it then I'm stuck between Patriot Blue and Delmonico Red. I have all lights grilles etc to convert it to a night edition. I just didnt want the typical white, silver, black or gray. Wanted something different.
I can only imagine. I see the paint and parts issues first hand. I can hear it in the tone of their voice when we talk. Its tough right now there's a lot to go against.
With a shortage of blue I was thinking to try to change it to Delmonico Red but then regardless I’m still going to wait. I’m staying with my favorite and first choice.
I spoke to our Akzo rep today. Toner 311 which is used for a majority of red colors is out of stock and on back order. They have no eta or timeline to provide. It’s something new every week it seems.
