ESD is essentially you should expect a BS within a day or 2 of that date. ESD doesn't mean your truck will ship on that date.

Esd isn't the ship to dealer date, it's the build date (comes off the line and is "shipped" from the factory to the body vendor). But if all goes well you should see a windows sticker a few days after that.

No build sheets on weekends, so I'd day Monday is your build sheet and windows sticker day hopefully, if your truck started assembly today. Check with your dealer, it should show its in framing or paint at this point if it's started.

I was in framing on 12/28 and paint on 12/29 and don't have a build sheet yet. But that's not the norm by any means. Holiday threw a wrench in the schedule I'm pretty sure.

I got the 33 gallon more for bot having to fuel it as often, not necessarily for road trips. But I also like being able to take advantage of cheaper gas when I can and if I can get 10 extra gallons it makes going a little out of my way more worthwhile.

Just so you know, vin means your order was accepted by Ram, ask your dealer for a POC to see what status you are. D = Not scheduled yet. D1 = scheduled and should be built in the next 2-3 weeks. Recent orders have been getting built very quick compared to early orders but it's all a crazy shoot...
