The class IV receiver on the 2019 1500 has 1100 max tongue and 5000 max recommended trailer weight for conventional towing. 1275 max tongue and 12750 max trailer weight with weight distribution. These are the ratings for the receiver itself not necessarily for your truck.

My 2019 with air suspension tows noticeably better than my 2015 with coil springs. Same trailer has been towed 13k miles total between the two trucks. Air suspension is very stable, less porpoising, easier to setup/hitch/unhitch. Never had a sway problem with either truck.

Not understanding your post. You said you get better mileage with 87 (17.5) than with 89 (18.5)? But it 17.5 is worse than 18.5, right? I’m missing something.
It’s a valve. You can open and close it easily with your hand. You also have the option to leave it cracked open just a bit to allow some coolant through. Haven’t had fogged windows yet.
The factory thermostat is ~203 so don’t expect it to run any cooler than that.
On mine I see 204-217 in normal driving. I did see 227 while towing uphill. I’m not looking at it all the time though.
