Well rebates update Aug 3rd. Hoping they get better. Id just ask Craig to get them to do there job and then continue to wait. Maybe you’ll get lucky with the rebates too.
For my zip code the FCA rebate for their financing was only $500 and the FCA rates suck. My credit union is 2.49% for 65m. I’m in NH. Id must take their finance department out of it. They will screw it all up and try to sell you crap you don’t need or want. Tell Craig to write up the paperwork...
@NewLove remove their finance department from the deal. Tell your sales person you need final paperwork to take to your own credit union or bank in order to secure the loan and bank check. Once you have the bank check you can drive the 5 hrs, sign and pick it up. There is no reason the sales...
I’m not sure if you can combine/stack everything indicated in your EP example to get to $54,443.
On your 2nd option, would it be the 14% net discount to $58,500 - $3500 rebates for $55,000? If yes that’s also pretty good in my opinion.
If a dealer is doing this they should just be removing the $1695 from the calculation for discount, not charging you for it twice.
IE:
$60k MSRP with destination.
$60k MSRP - $1695 = $58,305
$58,305 x 0.11% = $6,413 discount
———-
Truck price is $58,305 - $6,413 = $51,622
Add Destinaton back in...
Very surprised. Not to ask a dumb question but are were dealing with Carl at Criswell? Not Koons? It looks like you combined the Koons & Criswell info above.
Where did you get that text from you quoted above?
Using the Criswell link from this site I don’t see the language about freight that...
I agree. I just got so tired of trying to work with local dealers. I know my deal might not be the best ever, but considering the time spent getting it it just might be. It’s all depends on how much effort/time you care to spend.
1%-2% more off for my deal is $500-$1000 total. If I get lucky...
I think you are misreading Criswell info.
Criswell pricing (and Chrysler MSRP) includes the destination fee.
The *Freight* they are referring to is if you want your truck shipped from their dealership to you. That’s how I read it.
Also my deal is on a 2020. You can see on here in their forum...
I hear ya. I sell HVAC equipment, some with built in controls and logic. I've been burned before where I install the latest firmware at start-up, only to get a message weeks later that they made a mistake and that version should be removed....
I pretty much use 1 version old now, never the...
I stopped discussing with Koons when I found out the 8% on the forums here was reduced to 6%. So my math above was never in writing, was just for comparisoon.
You are correct about destination (heard others say that about them). The destination fee would probably be added in my example above and...
I ordered my 2020 truck about a month ago. Dealer said a two weeks ago D1 status with 7/21 ship date. I just chatted with Ram. Person said no update, still gathering parts, and that the 7/21 date is assigned at time of order and is rarely accurate.
I have been excited about the thought of...
Well my paperwork is indicating 1% off MSRP for the Tread lightly. See if that sticks when we actual do the final paperwork. Its a difference of only $50 if its wrong.
Regarding % off MSRP vs % off invoice, everyone should run the math both ways. In my situation the Criswell deal was better, and...
O maybe I miss read it. I plan to get my control number soon. I am expecting the truck to arrive in early August. Supposed to ship from Michigan on 7/21.
I also ordered from Carl at Criswell. My 2020 Laramie is 13% off MSRP, 1% off MSRP for tread lightly, - rebates from FCA, + dealer fee. It looks like the deals for the 2021s are a bit different.
It’s an additional 1% off MSRP. The membership is $100.
I signed up and they send you some paperwork. You have to wait 30-days to do an additional FCA setup. Then you present this info to the dealer during delivery. This is what my membership email says:
Is it possible it has something to do with:
A. Electronic park brake: do you have the auto park brake setting enabled in UConnect
B. That the gear shift knob was not in park completely?
Maybe towing it by messing with either somehow cleared the issue and when at the dealer it was all set.
I...
