I'm not sure what is typical but I ordered my truck on July 13th and my salesperson sent me my updated POC with my VIN the very next day. Her text said "Your truck already has a VIN number!!!" so I presume that is faster than normal, but I'm not really sure. Hopefully you will hear something...
There's a couple of different ways you can track your build sheet and window sticker availability. The first way is the website https://cryptostickers.net/
You register with this site with your VIN and the site will send you an email when your build sheet goes up and when your window sticker...
I ordered my 2021 Longhorn on July 13; build sheet came active September 3; window sticker was active on September 9, and truck was delivered September 16, so it was not quite 2 full weeks from the date the build sheet came active till the truck was on the dealership lot. Now that they are...
Retired as a Paralegal after 20 years with the Army and now work as a Paralegal with the Department of Justice. 15 more years and I'll retire for the second time and take a break for awhile. ;)
I'm interested as well, but we live in KCMO. Worse, we are driving to Waco but will not arrive there until the 14th. If you ever make it to the Missouri area, I have two vehicles that I would like to have done. My Ram and my wife's Fiat 500. I figure the Fiat 500 should only take 15 minutes...
My Longhorn is only a week old and I plan getting the extended warranty because it covers road rash and damaged rims. As you said, tire damage can be expensive. The rim can cost as much as $500 and the tire as much as $250. One destroyed tire/rim combination is more than twice the cost of the...
That's my point. The rims on the Fiat are very low profile (205/40R17), so the tire "bottomed out" pretty easily when hitting those potholes, even with brand new tires. The tires on my Longhorn are 45s, so only a little bit thicker and yet they don't bottom out the way the Fiat tires did driving...
I have to agree with DirtNazzty on the 22" ride. I've driven the same route for several years now and the potholes that used to make me wince in my Fiat 500 Abarth are barely noticable in my Longhorn. The drive truly is like a luxury car. I'm interested to see if the ride will get a little...
I agree that it's a great box but it looks like you have to unlock from both ends. Not a deal breaker, but would have been nice if they figured out a way to unlock from either end. It's a minor annoyance to have to walk all the way around to unlock other end every time you need to open. Still...
For USAA, go to the Car Buying Program link in the Products tab, but you need to hurry. USAA is ending their car buying program on September 30th. However, if you can get the code before 30 Sep, it is good for 45 days. If you don't use it by then, it will expire. PenFed is probably similar as...
Sorry for the late post. Have owned the truck for a week now but forgot to post my pics till today. Proud owner of the best looking, best color pickup truck on the market. :D
Yeah, I forgot about the "push start button" part so when I got into the truck the shifter knob wouldn't work. Took me a second to remember that I had to push the start button to actually move the truck. Even knowing that the truck won't move without the fob won't stop me from worrying about it...
I haven't tried Send and Go, but today I was able to get Alexa to send an address to the truck so it was waiting on the Uconnect, and start the truck up 5 minutes before I headed to lunch. My co-workers were suitably impressed. Ha! :ROFLMAO: Although the remote start feature is pretty cool, all...
