Koons Dealership Thread started.

Like the Mark Dodge thread for those who ordered through them, I figured I would start a similar thread for the many members who purchased from Koons out of Northern VA, as they also have the discounted deals (at the time of this post it was 6% under invoice). Feel free to post order updates...

Curious, concerned about what? Is it taking a long time or have you heard something else about dealing with Koons? Also a saw a thread about working with MD, but didn't see similar for Koons. Does anyone kno if such a thread exists?

Received word from Craig at Koons that my truck is on the lot. Less than 5 weeks from order date, so I am certainly counting myself luck. They need 2-3 days to inspect/prep then I can go get it. Debating whether to do all the paperwork in advance (saw earlier post that it was a nightmare) or get...

Anyone know the distance required for rail transport versus car carrier? Specifically, wondering if vehicles going the 470 miles to Koons outside of Wash DC is shipped via rail or truck. (I will ask them next week when I check in, but thought I'd ask here first)

Asked the SAME question to my sales guy. Yes, as long as you take delivery by end of April. I have a $1000 factory incentive like you. Good times!

QQ: as I'm waiting to take delivery of my truck, which is coming with the OEM tri-fold tonneau cover, I've heard it's a piece of crap. True?

Got this from my dealer (Koons). I was under the impression these were built south of the border and shipped north. If I am reading correctly, mine was built in MI and is currently in Toledo, which makes sense as to why dealer expects vehicle in 1-2 weeks (relatively close). Thoughts?

I see very few of the blue here in North Georgia. Very happy with the Patriot Blue/Night Edition combo. Looks sharp!

If you don't hate me yet....dealer informed me they are showing the truck arriving anytime between this and next weekend. I started this process hoping I would get the truck either before my b-day in June or before a planned vacation in late September, so I can't complain. If the flight to VA...

Agreed...almost like the truck was destined for another dealer's lot and they simply reallocated to me. Buying through Craig at Koons, so not sure if his high volume had anything to do with it.

QQ: Does having a WS mean the vehicle is complete and just needs to be shipped?

Here in North Georgia you don't see too many of the Patriot Blue (a lot of black and red for the UGA Bulldogs) Rams, which is nice as it stands out.
