Quick question. I was looking at my build sheet, https://www.ramtrucks.com/webselfservice/BuildSheetServlet?vin=1C6SRFKT9NN328379 , and I noticed on page 6 something listed as " 5 ft. Cargo Box". Any idea what this is?
Edit....
That is referring to the bed size, correct?
Agreed….that will change with EVs, but the majority of your mid-size SUVs, Sedans, and down are slower. The 2022 CR-V is a benchmark vehicle and see a 7.6-8.0 0-60 time.
I think I lost the bubble on this topic. Trucks are expensive and utility luxury vehicles. You can get a corvette starting...
If you refinance immediately, they likely lose their additional $ kickback, so in the end you will get the “last word”.

I wouldn’t say it makes you an idiot, it just relative to ones risk tolerance. I would enjoy the chance to do it, but if I get caught there are ramifications to my job. Plus, if a random deer jumps out, then you in trouble.
That being said, when I was ~20 years old, I remember topping out a...
A quick YouTube search you that the coyote and ram are neck and neck (TFL I believe the channel). The coyote wins vs a hemi with a 3.21 gear ratio. So the 3.92 would likely eck out the win.
I’m not denying your points on the ford comparison. That is a well known quantity at this point. There...
A 5.7 at 3.92 can hit low 6 to sub 6 seconds, as exemplified by a simple YouTube search. A 2.0T sports or touring trim will hit ~5.5 seconds, but standard models will fall well behind the Hemi.
Your truck should be far from the normal definition of slow…so maybe something is wrong or your...
Thank you and edited to include that it is, indeed, a crew cab with 5.7 short bed.
Will do - I will plan to update this as soon as I have a solid number.
My apologies, I think I confused the message. I have a VIN, but I don't have a Build Sheet or Window Sticker, so my VIN doesn't show any results on the website you linked. I think I have to wait it to role off the factory line before I can get payload numbers, potentially?
Side note - the Ram...
Tracking and I appreciate it. I have a VIN but not BS or WS yet, so the VIN isn't producing any results yet.
I am just trying to get a handle on the rough estimate and ensure I am not hamstringing myself by ordering a vehicle with a payload lower than I am estimating.
Copy and thank you. Based on the stats @Zeronet provided in another thread, I should be within a few lbs of your weight. It appears that adding the 33g tank and air ride, while removing the ORG would be almost be a wash.
Reviving this old thread to get some confirmation on the estimated payload for a truck I have on order.
