They don't make it like I ordered it. I have been looking for over a year. And if I do find one I can accept, they are all holding fast to MSRP and I am at invoice. Saving $7k is worth the wait IMO

When your is found by the script you will be tagged by triple_b in a post, exactly the same format as one you replied to earlier. He does this every day for us. First you will get a BS, then when the truck is finished you will get a WS. The BS your alert that is in production and it gets ignored...

I think there is a difference in them saying they will honor the price and them going to Stellantis for a price protection. It is possible the factory now refuses to do what they use to do, but the local dealer still wants to keep people happy so they will do what they can do honor an agreed...

I have to believe the most likely issue is something like what I believe I saw Eighty say awhile ago. There is stuff internally in their ordering system that changed at some point, likely after production started. This is why we saw some packages get added features (I forget if any lost...

That feels to me like it is based on what kind of an invoice price they get. I do find it odd that Stellantis is willing to take a hit on a truck because the dealer promised you less, especially considering the disclaimer at the bottom or all the POCs saying subject to change. My guess is the...

Been there, done that. He went straight to the factory and that is where my first promised build of the week of 11/29 came from. That came and went. I emailed him the next week on 12/08 telling him I was disappointed and was curious what my new date was since that one passed. It was the next day...

I thought that was related to rebates only. And very few of us got that one, most of us just got a lower than MSRP promise. My understanding has been through multiple purchases on multiple makes that they get it for a set price from the dealer and anything above that is their profit. Since they...

Being price protected won't matter about being built order. That is a deal with the dealer and us directly, the manufacturing factory make the same if they sell it over MSRP or below. They shouldn't even have access to that. So unless you are implying that the dealers are asking the factory to...

He told me it says 12/18, but when I asked for a copy of my POC to see that on 12/10 I got ghosted. This guy has been poor on his replies. He also claimed he was checking for updates every day. But I got the new from Ram Chat first and asked him to verify. And that reply took 25 hours.

I was told I was D1 by Ram Chat and my dealer. But I am still waiting on that updated POC I asked for last week. I am tired of hassling the dealer. They have been less than stellar through this whole experience.

Yes, it has been very frustrating to see trucks very recently ordered with a lot of similar options going D1 in a matter of weeks. It really does feel like there was an issue with early orders for one reason or another. Either way, this feels like a screw job for the more loyal customers who...

Well... there goes any thought of it being built on the second series of promised dates. On the bright side, no Christmas week lemon

I heard something very similar when I tried to see what their prices were like. None here would even do at MSRP and I think one said $10k over. I am not buying a $90k truck and then paying $10k over that.

If you are ok with a little deep dive here is a series of videos about this topic. Engineering Explained does a good job of trying to keep boring topics interesting. TL;DR: Do what the manufacture recommends https://www.carthrottle.com/post/engineering-explained-high-vs-low-octane-petrol/

I would request they show you like a service bulletin or something to back up their statement. Have you also tried talking to another dealer, even if it isn't one you planned to go with and they might be outside of your range. But if what they are telling you is true, you should get the same...

Something feels off about that. We have been seeing 3.92's coming off weekly. Below are 2 WS's from just last Friday. I am sure triple_b and eighty could back it up with more numbers. If it was a compliance issue they would have to likely put a stop build on all of them, not just new orders...

Attached is the most recent list for eligible FCA rewards vehicles. Our 1500 (DT) was taken off the list October 1st. We don't know if or when it will be back. It does only mention MY 2021 and I can't get a clear answer from anyone in that program what changes there will be for MY 2022. But it...

I agree. Almost every week I see enough parts in the build sheets that triple_B posts that could build my truck in higher vins. The only thing I sometimes don't see are the tow mirrors. But you know, they are still just acquiring all the parts for mine, it is very frustrating.

1500 are Light Duty (LD) trucks. 2500 and up are Heavy Duty (HD) trucks I don't see why we now have two people on this forum who were told their in matches a 1992 Plymouth. Sounds like they are only running the last 8 of people's VINs. Have you tried the chat where you enter the VIN and take...
