Well, I actually bought these hooks I showed you (only in chrome) for my 2019 DT Bighorn. They fit like a glove and I installed them without any trouble. Yours look completely different and don't fit / cannot be installed. Following this simple logic - you've got the wrong hooks I'm afraid...

I think that's a matter of the UConnect model you have. If you have the "connected" one (Nav, SOS button etc). these seem to process the changes longer. My non-nav unit responds immediately after truck restart. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
