Even if it's the same engine from mechanical standpoint, the ECU is probably programmed differently, what with the EPA / fuel efficiency / eco friendly friendly nonsense. Different timing advance, shift points etc.

Yep, same here. I don't care at all. It's entirely possible that is supposed to be this way as a graphic design feature.

No issues at all. Bought used 10 months old / 14k miles from Enterprise Rent-A-Car (!) Like new condition. BigHorn QC Hemi eTorque, L2 Equipment package. I'm loving it.

Oh stop whining you guys. Give FCA some time to fix these teething issues. The UConnect system is still new, it's only been around for 7 years now. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Well, I actually bought these hooks I showed you (only in chrome) for my 2019 DT Bighorn. They fit like a glove and I installed them without any trouble. Yours look completely different and don't fit / cannot be installed. Following this simple logic - you've got the wrong hooks I'm afraid...
I think this hook is for RAM Classic / DS, not the new body style DT. Many crappy online sellers still mix up the models or don't care enough to differentiate between 2019 DS and 2019 DT models.
The DT hooks look like this:

Yes, my Bighorn L2 uses the fog lights this way. Quite helpful when taking turns on the dark. I don't think this can be disabled and quite frankly I don't know why one would want to disable such a useful feature?

I see a lot of misinformation (and misunderstandings) here indeed. I'm not criticizing this particular product and I'm sure it is well designed and manufactured... and please show me where I "told everyone how bad Echo's engineers are". I'm constructively comparing the whole concept and system...
Not personally, but I rode shotgun on a camping trip where one was used. It worked. However, I don't see a reason to buy / use one over the factory TBC. Here's a quick analysis compared to OEM, from engineering and functionality standpoint:
- it introduces to the system an external device that...
I think that's a matter of the UConnect model you have. If you have the "connected" one (Nav, SOS button etc). these seem to process the changes longer. My non-nav unit responds immediately after truck restart.
