Well look, according to your profile signature, the reason why your old truck order hasn't been built yet, is because you went forward into the future of this year to order it in October, and then you jumped back. You've got to wait until October 22 before the future you becomes the current you...
I've got a D1 status and ESD of 3/28/22 within a week of a build order from 2/22/22. No BS as of yet. We'll also see what happens, as I've no reason to be optimistic seeing we're stretching into a year for some of these guys still waiting on their trucks.
Hi @koons!
I've got a truck coming from you guys sometime hopefully over the next few months! Random question, but does your dealer put on Koons decals when you receive the truck or can we opt out of that and just go with the branded license bracket?! Huge fan of decal deletes where applicable.
Ha. We have the exact same truck except I have the 3.21 gears and Trailer brake control whereas you have the tow group with 3.92 gears. She's gorgeous man. I think I made the right decision after seeing a fellow ivory night edition. Thanks for sharing those pics man and enjoy!
You are well within your right to ask all the questions you want. That's used in my opinion and you should threaten to walk away if they don't give you a great discount, otherwise that behavior is taught as tolerated for other customers and sets precedent. Look up this situation on the internet...
So, whatever incentives you lock in at the time of your build order should be price protected with your dealer. That being said, if at the time of purchase you find a better FCA incentive, you can trade those out to replace the one you locked in. My understanding is that you can't "stack"...
Just got an email from US Customer Care @ FCA Group that the first truck I ordered on 2/12 will be here 4/13. Yikes. Now, just need to wait for the second truck's email because that's the one I'm actually getting.
I don't know. I just think from the limited exposure I have to the 3.21-3.92 debate, Ram provides the 3.21 stock for a reason and I don't imagine it's because of providing a negligible "savings" of $95 from the "ultimate gearing of 3.92". If 3.92 was the end all be all, I just would think they...
I just don't really see myself towing more than 6k lbs, and that's like once or twice a year for a week or so, max. Realistically, it will probably be around 4.5k of towing. I just think if all this concern is for towing, the 2500 is probably the way to go. That way, you've got the payload, the...
The rebel did (does still, perhaps) have a little less incentive than the limited at the time I bought which was just in the last week, but the limited's MSRP was more, so I think it would be a wash either way.
I did a lot of research from subscribing to Consumer Reports and Edmunds , and it...
It's literally stock. After driving it, I was like "hmmm, maybe I don't need the 3.92's. Maybe the 8speed V8 Hemi is going to be more than enough for me." We'll find out. We're gonna do some A/B comparisons on each other's trucks when I get mine. Should be fun. Exact same config and year with...
You know, I must be a real idiot or I must be halfway intelligent, because it's only one of the two here! I have a limited 4x4 Hemi eTorque with ramboxes and pretty much all options ticked being built, but after much much much much debate and back and forth, the *ONE* thing I did not get was...
