If you're backing into a parking space, I think it's really great. I've just learned to look back thru the windows when I parallel park and then look at the tilted side mirror to see the tire positioning relative to the curb. I wanted to turn it off when I first started using it but I've learned...
I LOVE the reverse tilt feature, but I wish it was a bit more customizable. If you're backing into a spot, it's tremendous. If you're parallel parking (which I have to do in the city a lot) then it's a pain in the ***.
I'm horribly impatient so I decided to order all mine this morning since stock was low on Amazon. I went with the 72W LA-PLUS series for all of them: low and high beams and fog lights. They're the one with the 360 degree mounting collar.
See, I was under the impression the UCAs really only needed to be changed out if the factory suspension was already lifted with the ORG or on the Rebels.
Just want to confirm here... I've got a 4x4 Big Horn without the off-road group. Stock suspension.
If I want to level the front end, all I'll need is the 2" or 2.5" leveling kit without the UCAs, correct?
Eventually want to upgrade from the 275/55R20 Bridgestone Duelers to a slightly larger...
I'm at about 675 miles on my truck so far, and have yet to get through a full highway tank. Hoping to do so on a trip next weekend. I haven't reset my MPG gauge since I bought it and I'm at 10.6 MPG, with a noticeable difference between highway and city. Driving a truck in the city of Chicago...
According to the LASFIT website, their tiers of H11 bulbs are as follows...
Which kits would you recommend? / Not sure which will work best for my car.
If there’s lots of night driving on the dark living in the country or something like that, we recommend LS series with brightest light and...
I’d imagine any 6000K LED bulb will look exactly the same.
I’ve done only LASFIT bulbs all around so I’ll probably stick with them for low beams and fog lights too.
Any help from anyone who has done this install?
I connected all the wiring today (even soldered and added a heat shrink with some help) but haven't been able to install behind the bumper because it was pouring rain all day.
Here they are night time after install. You can see the difference between the LED and the standard halogen low beams and fog lights. Switchbacks work like a charm!
Still waiting on my harness and 5-pin male to come in. Shipping delays...ugh.
In the mean time, any help getting this damn plug off? This thing won't budge! I'm guessing I gotta try to squeeze a flat head screw driver into those metal clips above the 7-way to get it out?
Just switched my turn signal bulbs out to the LASFIT 7443 LED switchbacks and they’re awesome. Super easy install, no error codes and they work perfectly even with the DRLs.
If you buy, make sure to get the CK socket. And the bulbs will need the polarity lined up so if they don’t work the first...
