@busa2009, I asked them if there was a special harness I would need or if it was plug and play, and I was told by their representative that it's plug and play, no other harness needed.
I don't know the best one, but I would avoid Bayside at all cost. I offered them cash on a Ram that was sitting on their lot for over 100 days, and they wouldn't move off the price they had listed. Found the exact same truck 15 miles away for almost 4K less.
I live in Virginia too. I live in the Northern Neck (Colonial Beach), never near the Beltway, Northern Virginia, or 95. I moved here from Florida, where my rates were super low, and I now pay Northern Virginia rates. Talked to my Insurer, since my rate is outrageous for living in the country...
For what it's worth, I had a F-150 and had no issues at 154K miles. I bought my Ram that was a former rental. I've had it since May and its been in the shop once to have the eprom flashed when I added the trailer brake controller. I don't have the Limited, I have a Bighorn and I'm not looking...
I didn't care if my truck had NAV or not when I bought it. I use Apple Car Play and it works fine most of the time, and I can still use my phone while connected.
Drove mine in 4 Auto this morning and as quiet as a church mouse and no vibrations. I can't tell the difference from 2 wheel to 4 wheel auto on the road.
All back roads and two small towns to go thru. Only problem is it gets very dark and the deer crossing the roads. Glad these things have plenty of light. Not a bad drive when it's light out, no rain since you can step on it a little. Oh, that 65 miles is one way.
I just received my PC yesterday in the mail. Installed it last night. Set it for city +2 for the ride to work this morning. What a difference. However, half way to work, I set it on city +3 for the last few miles. I'm sure the smile will be broader on the way home and all the rain soaked roads...
My Big Horn isn't quite that bad, but still bad. I can set the temp at 72 (it was 33 degrees out) and it will got hot, feels like high 80ish (not measured), then it will cool off to about 60ish (not measured). I didn't fiddle with the temp knob the other day when it was cold out, I just opened...
I've had a cover on mine since I bought it because I like a thicker steering wheel also. I have only used the heater a couple of times, including this morning with no issues and the steering wheel gets hot. I only have it on for a short time.
