I have a Big Horn and both the AC and Heat seems to work fine. It was 117 one day that my truck sat in a parking lot all day. Put AC on max and 4 miles later, it was at 87. With the temp set at 70, 5 miles after that, I had to turn it off of max fan. No hack on my system.
I just got a pistol safe I bought from Walmart.com. Was so excited to get it since it has a code to get in and a key just in case. I checked the dimensions online before purchasing (also measured the truck, a Big Horn) and it was much cheaper than what others have used here, so I pulled the...
No instructions for the wiring with mine either. Once you stretch it out, it's pretty easy. One lead to the lower white wire on each light, the red and black to battery and the grey to your fuse tap. As a note, if you plan to go with LED's, I suggest you do that before installing the lights...
Routed my wiring next to the upper radiator support, where the hood latch is. I just followed the wiring there and the hood latch cable over to the Drivers light and battery. I used zip ties, but waited to cinch them down until I was sure it wasn't near something hot or sharp. Only had to cut...
I couldn’t wait on the LED’s so I marched forward after work since the lights were here. Pretty straight forward and only one issue. The grill has six bolts at the bottom and I had to take two clips off the old lights and put them on the new ones. That was easy though. Strung the wiring for the...
I bought a pair right after I bought my travel trailer. They worked, but takes a second person to get the mirror adjusted correctly (the passenger side anyway) . It snaps on easily, but taking it off, I was worried I would damage something, it didn't. After my first trip camping, I decided that...
Water won't get in your bed from those stake pocket holes. They are open at the bottom and water will flow right thru them, not into the bed. I have a Gator Hybrid on my truck and it covers most of the hole, if not all of it, and I get no water in my bed even in a storm, so far.
Anyone have an idea how to get the trim plate under the head light off? I have taken the screw out and pulled the panel down, but it's not budging. I don't want to damage anything, so I'm taking a break to ask that question. Maybe I'm missing something.
