UPDATE:
I received a prompt phone call from the dealer once @RamCares got involved.
They explained to me that the radio (12” UC) and the USB ports were pulling amps long after they key was off. Somehow they retested the battery and found that it was bad. (Interesting, but I’ll go with it for...
Day 3 at the dealership. They told me yesterday there is something definitely draining the battery. They keep reiterating that it may be an aftermarket item doing this. Still no answers.
I have an iPhone cable plugged in to the dash for my iPad and a 12v usb into to top plug for my phone. All...
My glove box light goes out with no problems. Just weird that I go from a fully charged battery to 9 ish volts in a matter of 2-3 minutes. It’s gotta be something big.

No recall for that on this truck as far as a bad ground. I pulled them off yesterday and checked and there was no paint.

Dropped it off this morning and waited around till the diagnosed the battery. They said it was fine, just had a large power draw and more than likely it’s my phone charger doing it. You know the one that has zero power when the key is off..
They are keeping it to make sure and find the drain...
Had to jump it, drove it home (15 mins). Voltmeter on dash read 14.5 for about five mins and fluctuated down to 13.5 which is normal.
Got home and threw the voltmeter on the battery before I shut it off and it read exactly the same. Shut the truck off and it slowly goes down to about 9.5 volts...
I suspect it’s the bolt into the block by the motor mount and starter area. It’s tight. All of my other ground connections are paint free.

I’ve had my BDS on since Christmas and put quite a few miles on since then. Not sure if those would be related or not.
May be a ground issue, something got disconnected or loose.

Well the gremlins have been well hidden until recently.
2 weeks ago or so I noticed a squealing and a smell coming from my truck soon after I started it remotely. Sure enough, the A/C compressor had locked up. I’ve had enough cars to know this sort of thing happens even on new vehicles from...
Just now started having issues with mine starting. 34k miles and less than a year old. Voltmeter seems normal. 14.1 at startup and really doesn’t go below 13.4 while driving.
If it sits for more than a day or so it’s dead as a brick. Maybe it’s the battery. Need to get it load tested before...
Baja Designs - XL Sport
Fox was 10x upgrade over 6” RC lift with OEM shocks/spacers IMO. Soft as butter but not bouncy.

Well, I had the 2.5 level first and it was a bit higher in the front than the rear. Rode like a stiff brick.
Went to a reverse level afterwards with 2” lowering coils on the rear and it rode just as good if not better than OEM.
Got rear ended and decided to swap it up and went with a RC 6”...
Thanks!
Checkout my friend Joe at @mobtownoffroad on IG. He has made some soft topper racks for Tacoma’s and I’m sure he’d make one for you too. Tell him I sent ya.
