That's always been the wildly inaccuracies of the JDP report is that it's complaints, not severity. If 10% of a brands cars fail to start, they could be considered more reliable than a brand who has bad infotainment that gets more complaints.
I'd honestly just go with the xlts if you are going LT. The tread and on road performance between the 2 is basically the same, the xlts just have a more aggressive sidewall and only come in LT sizes.
I have them in 275/65r20 which is a 34.2 inch tire as well and compared to the stock nexens and...
The only real way to measure this is have a driver get comfortable in both trucks, then measure. Seats all the way back or all the way forward isnt apples to apples.
The ram has more space than my f150 did at least as observed for a rear facing car seat. In the f150 the rear facing behind my seat had an inch of 2 of clearance. In the ram I'm closer to 5.
Cant speak to the Ram;s, but that much ice my tundra's mirrors wouldnt have been defrosted in 10 minutes either, especially if it was also well below freezing.
I'm sure the owners manual 150lbs is lawyer speak since they specify moving and for liability reasons thats all they tested it for. Considering how many people drive with golf carts, motor cycles, ATV's etc with the rear tires on tail gates in the short beds, the load limit of the tailgate is...
I really am super happy with these. They are extremely planted on the road and the grip seems endless compared to the nexens and the G2's. When I turn the wheel the truck just takes a set and makes the turn where as the G2s i turned the wheel, then turned it some more, then slowed down some more...
I actually did put them on my truck and ended up being unhappy with them. They seemed a bit loose on wet road and in the high sidewall p275/65 size they felt loose and overly squishy even compared to my nexen's.
Thankfully i tirebuyer'd them so I was able to return them and replaced them with...
I believe on Ram they all require a cut and route because ram lines the inside of the rear holes with plastic. If you don't route it out then it won't let the bull ring fall in. You could call/email bull ring to confirm though, they are amazingly responsive
I had originally put Nitto Terra Grappler g2's in p275/65r20 and while they were ok, the handling and feel was not my favorite. Thankfully I had used tire buyer so I had 45 days to return them and I went with Cooper at3 xlts in the same size but LT version.
While a bit stiffer ride they handle...
I have fronts and rear bull rings. The fronts are indeed a unique part for the 2019. The rears are the same as 2018, both require cutting and routing though.
I always add bull rings to my rails. They make flush mount ones that fit well (but do require trimming). I like the extra tie down points that they add.
Surprisingly its actually the tread and actual size of the tire that has the biggest effect on MPG. The weight does matter, but mostly its because its moved farther out on the tread. They did an expirement on off road magazine, and losing 28 pounds a corner increased mpg by about .6 if i...
All big horns have ANC I believe. Easy way, look at headliner, if you have 4 mics, you have ANC.
I've also got the Eco mode rumble, it seems to be a specific rpm range so I believe it's just the exhaust.
They are 6x9 in the doors actually.
I replaced my dash and front doors today with jbl gx302 3.5s in the front and jbl gx963 6x9 in the front doors. I'm planning on swapping the rears with 963s as well.
As far as ease, the dash speakers took about 10-15 minutes a pop.
The doors aren't hard...
