Were you able to figure out, what the extra harness was for? I just got my 2019, with base level stereo. I want to add a amp and sub, but worried about the ANC causing issues. Thanks!
I really want to do this... sorry for extra questions, I’m not really educated in this stuff.. what exactly are the “4 +s”? I had a car audio tech, install an amp and subwoofer.
I didn’t have any ANC issues before this.
But now, it’s ridiculous on the amount of motor/exhaust noise that now...
Can you unpin (instead of cutting) them from the harness at the amp, under the seat?
Are you going to disconnect all 4 mic’s? I wonder if I need to disconnect all 4...?
I have the base 6 speaker system in my Big Horn, but found out that there is a amp under the seat, and I also have ANC. ( I haven’t read other people on the forum, even bringing up an amp and ANC on the 6 speaker system. I’m pretty positive it’s the base system).
The stereo installer can’t seem...
My Big Horn does the exact same thing as yours. Honestly, it’s embarrassing when your in a parking lot, with a brand new $45,000 truck (my case) and the damn brakes screech! Everyone around stops and looks, not thinking that bad sound, actually came from a brand new rig... I have 1,800 miles on...
I reset at each fill up, since I got it a month ago. Driving habits haven’t changed, autostart idle times haven’t changed (morning 4-5 minute warm up time). The more miles I’m racking up, the worse my mpg average is, and the weather hasn’t changed in the month I’ve had it. I also run 91. Could...
I also don’t understand why or how remote start/idle, has any impact to the mpg. You aren’t moving.... the lowest rpms the motor can operate at, should equal the least amount of fuel consumption. My 4th gen ram’s remote start had no impact on the mpg...
If this is in fact the case, nothing is...
Man I hope so! I started off with averaging 15.5-16mpg, and was happy thinking that once the motor gets more broken in, my mpg would continue to improve. BUT, as more miles I pass, the worse it’s getting. Exact Same driving habits, exact same routes taken, 1,600 miles now and I’m now averaging...
Good point. Does the alpine system provide a “center” option? I’ve never seen that option before, and think a center dash speaker would would be spliced/run/driven with the rest of the fronts
Are there wires run to that location? That would be nice to add the speaker..... BUT with how everything is so integrated in these trucks, I wonder if it would cause issues with the rest of the speakers and/or the ANC?
Hey All,
Does anyone know, what is under the center grille, on the dash? I have the 6 speaker system in my Lone Star. I seen folks that have the alpine system, posted pics with an “Alpine” Badge on it, making me think THEY have a speaker in there....? just curious if I can install an additional...

Ready lift’s include the spacers and UCA’s?
Is the replacement of the UCA’s required for a 2” level? I’m trying to do this, in the least expensive way possible.... my wife is getting pissed, that I’m spending so much money on my truck! Hahaha
Any updates on you Tire size you chose? I’m having a FabTech 2” level kit put on my truck, and I’m trying to figure out which size tire to put on mine. Can you post pics?
I hope I measured accurately (as close as I could with a cheap tape measure).
From the center of my hub, to the bottom of my fender lip:
Front = 22.5”
Back = 24.5”
Would a 2” spacer make my truck perfectly level?
My Big Horn has the ORP, and everyone’s results seem to vary on this forum. To me...
Nice Looking Truck!
Question: I bought my Big Horn / Lone Star w/ the ORP a month ago.
Yours has LED Headlights.....mine doesn't.... How did you get those? Is there a specific package I missed or were you able to order/build your truck with that option?
I been searching everywhere on this thread...
This has been driving me crazy. So, it looks like Real Truck.com is selling the Bilstein 5100 Adjustable Struts, that fit our 2019 Rams. I entered my exact truck (as close as possible, and it’s not the 2019 Classic, but the all-new body style), and these still popped up as “fits”.
Am I missing...
