At 36 psi on this heavy a truck, you will wear out any tire at the edges. Not a defensive statement for the Goodyear just saying so to save you the extra wear on your next/current set.
Yes it does. I can open/close the doors without having to open the lid. It's not air or water tight though. I added some rubber gaskets here and there to mitigate but there is still some leakage however not horrible.
This sounds a like a constant hard fault. That's the kind that your dealership service department ought to be able to handle without given you the "unable to duplicate" salute. Good luck with it.
Yes, I remember that. Your situation gave me hope that mine could also be located and repaired. I'm glad yours worked out. I've decided to give it another go with Eco diesel. I haven't heard of any widespread problems in this latest iteration so I will soldier on with a 2022--hoping the...
No argument from me on your point.
I don't do it for what might happen down the line. I do it for the sheer day-to-day enjoyment of my truck--a living example of a gentleman doing his thang.
Well-stated. If keeping your vehicle clean is something you enjoy then going the ppf/coating route is the way to go.
Doing something like this is no different than spending thousands on off road prep. It's all a matter of what you enjoy doing in and with your truck.
Enjoy and roll big!
Whatever you do, don't pay the dealership money to apply their magical potion to your truck, Whatever it is that is applied will probably wash off with the 1st rain storm. IMHO, you are much better off paying your local shop to do the PPF and coating.
I got it done here in Vero Beach, Fl Dec 2019. The shop I used wanted $8k, I negotiated him down to $5k. However, I did the prep work myself--claying, de-ironizing, polishing, etc (it's a hobby of mine).
So, does the MOPAR PPF get applied to the entire truck or is it only covering the front leading edges and surfaces?
With respect, many here are grossly misunderstanding what you are getting with PPF. I have PPF applied to my entire truck on the black paint. Not only can you tell a difference...
Suspected as much. Thinking I will upgrade to the latest Samsung Note phone when the time comes.
Ram are you listening? Fold and flip phones are making a return, kinda like your Grand Wagoneer 1st cousin.
