    Fender flares recommendation ?

I finally installed my eBay flares. They look pretty stock. Here is the link to the current version. Mines was painted. https://www.ebay.com/itm/303952000342?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=J4GHW1xxRrm&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=0wnhKaZgR62&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Get tint strip on top windshield: yea or nay?

Yup, exactly… Hawaii only allows a strip, not to exceed 6 inches in width. But there are tons of tinted windshields on the road. I work on base, so don't need the added attention. PMO will tag illegal cars when they have nothing better to do. I went with a limo strip across my windshield...

    Planning my Setup

Like I said, the 12.5 inch wide tires may bring clearing the UCA into play. Although mines did clear, my OCD was on high alert before I got the spacers (see below. Pics are with stock UCA’s. The ReadyLift UCA’s clear slightly more than that.). You may be fine since the stock offset will kick...

    Planning my Setup

68323530AA, 68323531AA is what I found for the UCA’s. When you search, it will come up as Mopar Accessory Lift Replacement Part. I have no experience with them, but know there isn’t too much of a difference, just a different ball joint. You may need to go max lift with the 285/55’s and do a...

    Planning my Setup

The 12.5 wide tires should be more of a concern than the height. On stock wheels, you may come into contact with the UCA’s and might need wheel spacers. 33’s will fit with a level 100%. Mopar 2 inch lift UCA’s would be the right part, not ORP UCA’s as they are the same as stock. if leveling...

What did you do to your Ram today???

And there is no tape on the flare. It simply mounts to the fender using the existing bolts for the liner.

What did you do to your Ram today???

Funny you say that because that "ah-ha" moment did come across...in my defense I started the work like 6pm, but was cleaning truck from like 9am that morning. I used isopropyl alcohol on the panel just before I laid down the tape, so the whole area beneath the painters tape was wiped down...

What did you do to your Ram today???

Got a few things done on the truck this week... -purchased a used Factory amplifier with ANC off of ebay for 130. Brand new runs from 480 up, if in stock. My diagnosis was correct. Plugged it in and the rest of the speaker system returned. Pictured is the fried amplifier just before i...

What did you do to your Ram today???

Let's see...what did I do to my RAM today... Attempted to install my JBL amp I've had for a couple of months, along with a PAC Audio CH03 wiring harness. Been getting static through my front doors, so I know I got some wiring issues going on with the harness and the ANC. As I have been...
