The ride isn’t quite as good as stock obviously but still resides very well to me, still as well or better than my stock ‘17 Expedition. On any smooth highway there is not much difference, on a rougher back road it is slightly more ‘bumpy’.
I believe it is like many other features, I could do without it, have for years of driving, but now that I have it I enjoy using it. Besides towing, I use it to see all close obstacles when navigating around the farm, when needing to back or turn in tight places, also use it for getting as close...
I do not believe anything will ride “better” than stock. I have a lift and run 10ply 35’s on aftermarket wheels in the summer and 10 ply 275/65’s on stock 20’s for the winter. Tire air pressure is key in the 10plys for ride. I run around 38-40 psi and am satisfied with the ride. Definitely not...
You should be fine with a +12. As mentioned, I have a ‘0’ offset and did have to trim some plastic. I have pictures in my thread “All fixed up! Lift, tires, exc.” you may have already seen. Those are the only pictures currently that would show how far the tires stick out. Currently I have winter...
As mentioned above, I swapped out the 1” lift block in the rear that come with the RC lift with a 2 1/2” lift block from Southern Truck. I posted pictures previously as well.
I run a 275/65 tire on stock 20’s for winter. I have a 3 1/2” lift but these tires should work with a minimal lift. Seems to be the tallest, most narrow tire for the money. There are others that are slightly taller with the same width but are much more expensive. All my truck info in my...
Mine gets really warm as well but I love it! I like the fact the seat and steering wheel heat come on automatically below 40 degrees F rather you remote start or not. I have not shut mine off yet this winter, takes a lot of heat to get through my thick gloves and coveralls!:D
I have a 3 1/2 RC lift with 35x12.5’s on 20x9’s with ‘0’ offset on my Longhorn. I did have to do some plastic trimming on the bottom rear of the front fender wells. With the 0 offset, the tires slightly stick out past the truck. If you go with the fender flares you could probably go with the -18...
I agree with the Rebel interior. Not to ruffle any feathers:censored:, the Rebels have a great exterior and I really like the tough look, but I just can’t get over the red in the interior. If all black then I could. When my wife and I were first looking and ordered we looked at the outside of a...
I apologize for posting here again, you all may get tired of seeing this truck. I couldn’t help but take another picture.:whistle:Ice fog this morning gave way to a gorgeous rural Indiana winter morning. Nice and calm and a balmy 7degrees F out here in the pastures.;)
The fronts will cause brake, as in adaptive cruise also, they will brake to a stop then go again when using adaptive cruise. If you have advanced safety?
Yep, the Kubota is a very handy tractor, small enough to mow with and get into anywhere but big enough to do some intense jobs. Most convenient tractor on the farm!
I always stay off of main roads in the winter if possible to keep the road chemicals off my truck. Always take untreated backroads or my fields. Much rather drive through fresh clean snow than dirty highway slush. Nice thing about this is after driving around today once I park it and let the...
