Ha, you know it!
I'm taking the kiddos here in late summer/fall and I'm definitely even more excited about it than they are 😂

I know I'm in the minority here, but the PW doesn't do it for me at all. The extent of offroading for me is gravel roads and parking in fields at wineries, concerts and such. I don't care for lifts or the aggressive rubber, or anything else that comes with the PW.
95% of my time is driving on...
If I were to buy based on what's available today, almost certainly a F-150 Powerboost or F-250 Powerstroke.
If I were to buy next year, to include trucks that haven't been formally launched or made available yet, here's the light duty list:
Sierra Denali 3.0 (only assuming the interior update...
Range isn't a factor for me for my daily driving and we could likely add a charging stop along the way on our annual road trips to see the kiddos' grandparents, but I'm a bit concerned about the handful of times I'm likely to start towing again beginning next year. Those aren't heavy tows...

Is the Big Horn Back Country article the 2022 article that y'all were working on in March, or has the 2022 article gone the way of the dodo bird?
@redriderbob and @Jared B
An electric truck could meet 90-95% of my current use case with no problems. As it stands, the only times it would be iffy are road trips to see the folks and inlaws twice a year. The straight shot distance isn't a big issue, at ~350 miles apiece, but charging infrastructure is pretty much...
One of my friends in highschool had a Dodge Omni. To this day, that car easily had the best AC I've ever experienced. I remember seeing our breath fogging within a minute of turning it on at the height of the Kentucky summer!
I'll be trading my '19 in for a '22 this fall and will be going with an EcoD. Being a loaded Longhorn (as will the '22), this truck is a porker and the Pentastar isn't really up for the task. I drive with a very light right foot and I've been disappointed in the mpg, along with downshifts galore...
I'll believe it when I see it. That article is a year old and doesn't account for the pandemic or the chip shortage, so it wouldn't surprise me if it gets pushed. Beyond that, getting into nitpicky details, the article says SiriusXM 360L was introduced with the 2020 1500, not the 2019 it was...
I'm definitely interested to hear your thoughts! I'm going to upgrade my '19 this fall for a '22 model from one of the big 3 and plan to check out the Platinum and Denali, as well as the 3/4 tons from all three (no *real* need for a 3/4 ton, mostly just because).
Right now the Platinum...
My mpg this winter has taken a nose dive. I've got the exact same driving route and driving habits that I did the past two winters, but for whatever reason it's sharply lower this year.
The past two winters I generally ranged from 17-19 mpg, this winter I've been in the 15s and 16s. My last...
Sounds like the V6 is a very different animal in a lower trim than in a fully loaded Longhorn! I've been less than impressed with mine, though it works as a leisurely daily driver.
GME T6
≥300# weight loss across the board
Ability to auto fold mirrors via the key fob (my past three vehicles all did this)
Ability to configure auto-comfort settings in UC
6' short bed
Optional >33 gallon tank
Hybrid powertrain a la PowerBoost
Bed power options a la 2021 F-150
Higher quality...
Fairly disappointed with my MPG. Lifetime MPG since November 2018 is hand calc 17.2 with an overall average of 65/35 highway/city. Best highway tank was 19.9 on a road trip from VA to NY with about 700-800 pounds of passengers and cargo. I wouldn't go so far as to say I drive like a granny, but...
