Longhorn Level 1 now has everything but ASG. I asked MD to confirm that Longhorn L1 does not have the ASG contents and they confirmed that, unlike Limited L1, Longhorn L1 does not have ASG contents.
For who knows what reason, the brains at Ram have decided that only the Big Horn and Limited...
Closing the loop on this for anyone following along--Mark Dodge confirmed today that ASG is not available for Longhorn and the features have not been moved to a different package as happened with the Tech Package.
As a result, apparently the only models that have the ASG features are now the...
Well, Mark Dodge just confirmed that ASG is not orderable for the Longhorn and it's features have not been moved to another package, which means, as far as I can tell, that you have to order either a Big Horn or a Limited to get the ASG features. 🙄
I'll be magnanimous and let you keep your quarter!
Welp, since ACC is a non-negotiable for me, I guess I'll need to either keep my current truck a while longer instead of ordering a new Longhorn or look at the competition.
Easiest way is to spec out a truck the same on Ram's inventory tracking website, then take the VIN of one of the matches and look it up on the towing and payload site.
I didn't own one, but drove a friend's 2018 F-150 Platinum for about a month in 2018 while he was out of the country.
Compared to my Ram with the V6, the ecoBoost was a lot more fun. The only other thing I really liked was the massage seat, everything else was either a wash or tilted in the...
Right. I have a '19 Longhorn with Level 1 and both ASG and Tech.
For '22 Longhorn orders, the contents of the Tech package have been moved to the Level 1 package due to the chip shortage. I've asked 3 different dealerships about the ASG contents, as the package is no longer orderable, and have...
Did any of the Advanced Safety Group features get moved into the Longhorn Level 1 package, or just the Tech Group stuff?
I've asked three different dealerships and gotten three different answers. 🤷♂️
I'm going to be on the market for a new truck this fall/winter. While I will likely just go with a '22 3.0, I do intend to scope out the Powerboost, Denali 3.0 (presuming the interior refresh isn't a dumpster fire), and the Tundra. I'm especially interested in the hybrid powertrain option the...
The guy who parks in the spot next to me at work has had a blue '20 Denali for the past 10 months. Of all the half tons on the market, I think it's by far the best looking. I'm just meh on the looks of the rest of the half ton Sierra lineup, though.
I'm on the market this fall, my '19 lease is up in November. I have zero brand loyalty, but a '22 3.0 Longhorn is at the top of my consideration list.
I'm also planning to look at the mythical '22 Tundra if it exists by then, as well as the Powerboost and the '22 Denali if the interior refresh...
OP, I foolishly got mine with the V6 expecting good gas mileage, too, and you can see how that's turned out despite me driving with quite a light foot. If I stick with Ram when I get a new truck this fall, I'll definitely be going with the diesel.
I think I'd be happier with my Pentastar if I was in a lighter trim like a Bighorn. As you can see in my sig, mileage isn't great in a Longhorn. I wouldn't go so far as to say I drive like a grandpa, but suffice it to say I have a light foot. My mix is about 60-40 highway/city here in the...
