If none if this helps, it obviously needs to go back to the Dealer. Waiting to 8/26, especially in the heat of Texas, is unacceptable. Either try calling another Dealer or call Ram Customer Care. They should definitly push you're dealer appointment up.

There's no way I'm going to let anybody take my dashboard apart. There's a high probability you're going to have all kind of rattles when they're done. I'd install the heater core bypass valve before having the blend door replaced.
