I wouldn't try to jump the truck. If it's possible, I'd have the dealer tow the truck back to the shop so they can witness the not starting issue themselves. A busy shop/lazy tech might just say, "It starts" and leave it at that, without actually trying to troubleshoot it.

Just make sure you tell your insurance company you want new OEM replacement parts. If you don't tell them that, they will install junk yard/ knock off parts.
